What would you guys thing about a DH Flight form as the ability to actually use our wings to fly as an epic flight form rather that use flying mounts? It never made sense to me that we can’t considering Worgen was given the old Tauren “plains-running” ability under the same pretense. Maybe an DH class specific epic quest around/about clues of what happened to Illidan and at the end of the quest gain your “wings”. Ijs in this new expansion the animation models for “flight forms” exist but like the druids have their class specific travel forms we should have one as demon hunters, we can already glide and thru inscription glyphs change the look of our wings. What do some of you think of that idea or am I beating a dead horse so to speak? Peace:v:t5:
I just want my wings to remain visible. I don’t wear cloaks to begin with. Tired of see magical wings appear to glide.

Cool, we’re a terribly-designed class that can double jump, but thread #764929 asking for dh flight form would like us to be a terribly-designed class that can double jump and fly!

I think this is an excellent idea.
I also like the idea of my wings being out at all times, but tucked back; also getting some fun movements with them through emotes.
We need this! It should be instant cast, but if druids are going to cry (like always do about that subject, and my main currently is this druid) i wouldn’t mind if DH just get it as a casting mount, the casting time being popping out your wings and just fly with the wings that DH always show while gliding with the already implemented kyrian animations. It is literally just a copy paste animation from one model (the kyrians) to another (blood and night elves). That wouldn’t take even half an hour to do e.e
Heh, I was also a little disappointed. I’d kill for draenai legs (no tail) and perma wings too. Would also be nice if the Meta form loin cloth had a transmog so I could wear the same clothes and meta wasn’t so jarring.
A flight form would also be really nice.

They should be a mog option for capes and for DH only of course (to make it as a class quest reward or something). Making the wings stay idle all the time unless you start gliding (or flying as flying mount).
Exactly, they’ve already done it with the kyrian capes, would be an easy thing to do for demon hunters.
I gotta be honest, after seeing the Gargoyles flight animation, it would’ve been really cool if they just added a slightly modified version of that animation to Havoc’s Metamorphosis form and make it a racial(Maybe Classial?) .
“Through control and force of will, you’ve master the ability to remain in Metamorphosis while focused, allowing you to use your own wings to fly when out of combat.” or something like that.
Also, come on Kyrians, stop making jokes that I got no wings, I do have wings. 
By “double jump” do you mean “glide” ? Sorry 
our glide mechanic doesn’t work on the same mechanic as the flight one. Not sure what you was trying to say.
I think you hit the nail on the head, it was likely just a brain fart, and I was thinking the same thing, it’s isn’t the same.

Gaining the ability to fly in every zone that allows it would be dope, maybe the Kyrian will stop disrespecting us by saying we don’t have wings! As for the suggestions for a cast time to fly, it makes sense on a gameplay level and I personally don’t have a problem with that, casting it could even be baked into just long pressing the space bar in zones that allow it, while in others you would just jump.
I have a suggestion though, make it castable while moving! since they’re our wings it makes sense that we can use them and our legs at the same time, since we can use our arms and legs at the same time, yeah? right? or is it just me. For real though I get it if it’s considered OP and on a game level it would throw everything out of balance and destroy the world as we know it.
Just gaining to ability to use my wings more and be treated with a little more respect by these Covenants would be a win for me. Kyrian isn’t the only offender, Venthyr is doing too now.
We would need to use the animation that the gloomhounds from Antorus or our class mount uses…kind of like a raw, Visceral pumping of our wings to hoist us off the ground…no flowy, smooth animations. If this were the case, I’d be all OVER that.
I am a little confused Do you like wings to tuck back during ground time etc. Expand to not only fly but include some fun random wing emotes? Because that I would completely agree with. Loving having wings already.
Even just giving us an option to have visible wings all the time would be okay to me.
