DH doesn’t seem as OP as GD says?

I have a DH. It’s probably my most geared character.

I also leveled this monk, a rogue, and a DK.

All have lower ilvl than my DH, but do the same DPS, have better control in PvP, and seem just as easy.

It’s not hard to learn different rotations and follow them.

Arguing about how much harder your 5 button rotation is compared to DH’s “4-button rotation,” is stupid.

They also don’t tell you DH is more on the boring side and is severely lacking in the mog department.

They aren’t nearly as OP as GD whines about. They excel at bursting down world quest mobs and therefore are great at horrific visions.

But…

There’s like 3 DH in the top 100 arena players.

And they are middle of the pack on mythic raid boss logs.

In summary, never ever take advice from GD.

JMO this is what’s dumb about them. Also DH is well known as one of the best specs to do non-rated PvP - and at least mid tier rated PvP - with which is another reason people probably dislike them.

A small percentage of people will claim DHs aren’t overtuned but that doesn’t mean they’re right.

I’ve played all of those classes above 2k, DH is by far the easiest, it’s also strong in every single form of content and easy to succeed at them all.

Mid tier would be basically 1k~2k.
Anything higher and it’ll be high end pvp.

They’re not. Their output isn’t crazy, neither is their survivability or utility. They’re just good at everything and have a lower skillcap than other classes, but I really don’t think they’re that op, and they’re not the best at anything. They’re in a better spot than some other specs/classes though
