People need to stop looking at numbers and instead talk about percentages. Yes, 150k is big, but players have between 340-400k hp. So it’s taking off 37-44% of someone’s health bar. Considering it only hits that hard after essence break which is a 45 sec cd, I’d say it’s alright.

…they are already topping meters without it. some games death sweep is is like 10th+ most hitting ability while soulrend/immo etc. is all way higher. combine that with actually using death sweep correctly and their damage is still significantly higher tham most melees so im not sure how you defend this spec

i can get more dps out in most games than anyone besides an aff lock or a melee people triple stacked for, but i don’t have tools to capitalize on a mana win and i don’t have the durability to get to one

The op is “why do they hit this hard” and most of the thread is people explaining why they do.
I saw a ret’s autoattack hit for 20x the damage of a mage’s autoattack once. Clearly they need to nerf ret based on this number.
