The only way you keep the PVP environement engaging and interesting is by doing constant balance changes, just like league of legends.
I remember I was always excited when riot was releasing new balance changes every 2 weeks.
The facts the game and meta can stay the exact same for SO LONG, is infuriating.
League you have changes every single 2 weeks, EVERY 2 WEEKS!
WOW PVP you have specs that are untouched for months, patches or literally the whole expansion.
Fury warrior, MM hunter, F tier in 3s and getting no help.
Fire mage was good 1st week and it got gutted. Why? who knows.
DH still flying around doing 150k DPS.
Game feels stale, no reason to play, sames tittles for 20 years now (exept solo shuffle), outdated ranking system.
It actually doesn’t matter that much if some specs or overtuned or undertuned. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT STAYS THE SAME FOR MONTHS ON END!
Also in league, when a champion is meta, it’s not like 30% better than every other champion like DH is so much better than most of the specs right now. Like there’s never that much of a gap between the champions that are meta and the champions that aren’t.
WOW devs aren’t playing their own game.
And the PVP is either balanced by imcompetent 1800 players or by people that have gigantic spec bias.
Feels corupted and rigged either way.

I don’t know if he has any say on PVP balance.
He can offer suggestions and things are ran by him in a conversational way, but he has no direct control over any numbers or final say on decisions.
Blizzard pays him a salary to act as a suggestion box?
Nah they do other stuff too, I’m sure, but I just wanted to clarify but it’s not like he goes over with a list of suggested changes and they have a group discussion backed by data and then pull some levers and draft up a community reply and are done by lunch.
Hearthstone won’t limp along getting more and more expensive to onboard all by itself I guess (I don’t know a thing about hs)
Yeah DH obviously a gigantic problem but just not sure how there isn’t a garanteed 2 week or at least 4 week PVP balance change by now is just a joke.
So bad for the game.
Because blizzard isn’t Riot and they’re content to bleed players since they suffer from ostrich policy regarding PvP worse than most other devs do.
But the game is balanced, except for dh. You could nerf dh dmg by 10% and it would be the most balanced season in a very long time
You shouldn’t need to have constant changes just for change sake.
Fix what’s under/outperforming, and then let people play
They honestly just need to fix DH…fix it and this game would actually be a great season

There should always be changes because the game can never be perfectly balanced.
Some classes get better than others with gear too so there’s always room to do stuff.
There should be changes at least once every 4 weeks like I said.
Uh. Let me be more clear. Assume you have a fixed amount of dev time to spend on balancing. I think you should spend 90% of it on the first two weeks after any major change.
Right now all specs except dh are within a 5% thoroughput buff/nerf to being average. That’s awesome. and good enough given how low priority pvp is
