Theres really only two ways to go with this
Healing spec: It honestly makes little sense because Fel magic is used to destroy and not heal. However it would give Demon Hunters more utility and the game another healing spec. Im sure Blizz could figure a way to shoehorn it in, something something using shadow or arcane to heal, I dunno.
Ranged Spec:
They do have hunter in their name after all…This spec could focus on Guns/Bows/Crossbows or be another caster type.
I mean in WC3 when DH pop meta they shoot ranged fel-bolts.
Ranged spec should just be a DH that involves a meta designed to be maintained 100% of the time, maybe it’s like Moonkin form or something where you lose some of your mobility in exchange for a big armor boost like druid form and abilities you can only use in demon form.
Oh wait I just described demonology warlocks in WoD.

So now that Evokers get something, DH HAVE TO get it as well?
And then since Druids have 4 specs, does that mean everyone else has to get a tank/healing/dps spec as well?
This is gonna be a balance nightmare, and WoW already is a balance nightmare. Just think of how much work they’d have to do for each class and spec getting two talent trees.
I don’t see them both doing this and giving us new classes, lol.
They can hold off on giving us a new class for a few years.
