I know that once you reach full renown, any of the df rep items you receive will then be account bound rather than soulbound. However, do any rep items already acquired also become accountbound or do they remain soulbound?
Also, is there any word if the renown factions will receive more levels or paragon rewards in future patches?
There’s nothing official, but it’s pretty safe to say that the cap is going to be increased.
Stuff you have already remains soulbound. New items you get are account bound.
This leads to the amusing situation where, if you have both in your bags still, you go to the Rep Guy and there are identical quests for the same items. But if you hover over the item in the quest turn-in dialogue, one will show bind on account in the tooltip, while the other shows the bind on pickup items.
You can bet on it, it is their main system to keep people chasing after stuff.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the core ones remain as is and we get new ones for new factions [if there are any, but history showing that they like to introduce more factions with major patches].
I’m skeptical. Pretty sure they’d rather add new factions than increase what exist. The reason being all the rep items.

Once you reach renown cap, what happens to rep gains from things like world quests? Do you automatically get account tokens from them or is it just wasted? I was stockpiling a couple factions in case of renown increase and in case of rep waste, but if its not an issue I will feel comfortable cashing the tokens in so they don’t go to waste if they remain soulbound.
If a WQ gives rep, you still get the rep. There are paragon caches for re-filling another rep bar (just like previous expansions).
If you loot a turn-in item, like Titan Relics or those centaur rep turn-ins, those are BoA.
The weekly “get 3k rep” quest items are also BoA so you can just mail those to alts, which is probably the best part.
When you hit cap, any items you already have remain soulbound. Be sure to dump them at their respective turn-in location at your earliest convenience.
Yes, paragon caches will get more pet charms and pet bandages in future patches!
You can bet we’ll get more renown levels in 10.1 and 10.2, and more shoddy storytelling tied to those levels.

So can you continue to turn in soulbound rep items at cap renown with this new rep bar, or does the turn in quest for them (soulbound) disappear?
You can keep turning them in towards credit for a “paragon rep” box.
