Now that Wrath Classic is officially out, I was thinking of when Bliz’s next big announcement will be regarding pre patch release. Beta has been slowing down and Everyone I think could use something new to look forward to. So what’s everyone’s guess? Mine is an announcement about 2 weeks from now with the actual drop date 2-4 weeks after that. Might be wishful thinking but a guess is a guess right? 
The leak said October 25th for the pre-patch. That is still my guess.

If the leaked release date is true, nov 26th ish, then prepatch will be somewhere towards the end of october.
I selfishly hope its soon. I want to be a dragon. But i also want more testing. But i want to be a dragon. But some classes still neee attention. But i want to be a dragon.

I am so with you! More testing for sure, but I am itching to play a Drakthyr so bad!!!

Prepatch is going to be broken no matter what and no amount of testing is going to fix it unfortunately. So I want that sooner. The actual launch can be delayed if needed.

It feels like a November prepatch.
I don’t remember prepatches being terribly buggy. I do remember people complained about certain ones but not being buggy.

Prepatch is likely Oct25th, with an expansion release November 29th. Between the leak that has been accurate on everything else so far, and Ion floating the idea of simultaneously releasing mythic raid with normal and heroic, it’s looking more and more likely.

I was trying to have everything wrapped up by mid-late Octobter and that’s around the time of the leaked pre-patch date, which…seems to be very possible. Nothing official, but better safe than sorry.
I settled on wanting pre-patch early a while back. I knew I was switching from Mage the second they announced Dracthyr could only be Evoker, and it’s felt awful playing this character ever since. They can delay the expansion and test all that as long as they want, but gimme pre-patch.
My current guess as to when we will get it is late October/early November.

I think they should do pre-patch after 12 weeks (they call this a short season and that’s a full M+ rotation). I don’t know what week that is. Additionally, they should release the game December 27 because it’s right after some major retail holidays.

This actually seems to be going much faster than normal to me. Like prepatch is on the ptr iirc.
With the release date now confirmed being November 28th, it means the leaks were true.
Therefore, the pre-patch is coming October 25th.

Yeah October 25th i would guess is the target date. In theory, they could push it back to First week of November still meet the launch date. Will mostly be people playing with evokers and new talent systems. Maybe a short pre-patch quest chain
If their communication is accurate there won’t be major changes to classes going forward. Just tuning
I personally think that the release is gonna be pushed back, there is apparently a ton of bugs in the beta.
