TWW started out really great, NGL i loved it…then it went spirally down out of control to where it is now…honestly right now im having a 4/10 experience in TWW…what say you guys? you enjoying TWW? DF S1 was probably the best season hands down till the ret rework,TWW S1 is a dumpster fire of a season lmao

DF and it’s not close. I never stopped playing in DF, now dead lock is taking over as my main game. The balancing this season idk, it doesn’t feel fun at all. How do we go from season 4 of DF to this…

Not sure why you think this, DF was at least top 3 pvp xpac in history of the game, only cata and mop can compare
Best class balance I’ve ever seen, easiest gearing, much better talent trees, introduction of solo shuffle (obviously the superior game mode unless you’re a washed up glad from wrath or wod or something)

TWW so far is bad, this season is terrible. The balancing is atrocious, full of bugs, mmr cap, big downgrade from DF

Game overall is about 2x better now than dragonflight. Story in df was akin to cocomelon. Df aesthetic was trash, zones were meh, music was worse. DF PVP balance was 1 notch better than TWW people just forget about stuff quickly, forgetting perma charging warriors and unkillable 1 tap rets, aug dominance assassination rogues in s4. Also Df added cringe race to 1 up previously added cringe races.
TWW has okay zones, okay story, etc. Overall DF was like a 2 or a 3, and tww is like a 5. if they could sort pvp balancing I’d say a 6-6.5.

I would say TWW is better so far, personally.
- Blitz > Shuffle.
- The specs I play are mostly more fun.
- Got rid of a lot of stuff polluting WPvP.
- Friends are actually logging in.
- Better zones.
That said I think both DF & TWW are probably the best PvP expansions post-WoD. But nothing post-MoP is great PvP because of fundamental design issues.

So far im enjoying TWW more.
Zones and story are better (at least so far),
levelling experience was more enjoyable on the first run through and alts were way faster
Balance feels EXTREMELY similar between DF and TWW, but imo TWW is better. I know this is gonna get a lot of contention, but when we
look at DF S1, I’m not sure that was the case.
Df started out nuts with DH where first time pvpers were getting 2400.
After that we saw sp and demo being unkillable demon gods that worked in every comp.
There were 2 weeks upon getting tier where ret paladins were literally 1 shotting stacked teams with radiant decree.
There was a 2 week period where feral druids were triple killing teams with bleeds.
Then at like week 11, everything was smoothed out and it was destro + assa every game for 5 weeks… then we FINALLY nerfed lock + rogue and we had the BEST 2 weeks in history of pvp… until the retpocalypse which was the worst to ever happen.
TWW is far from perfect, but there are FAR more strong and viable specs than underpowered ones.

I quit in Dflight s1 and didn’t come back till s4…meanwhile I’m still here in TWW and just got a brutosaur…
But I’d say DF s4 > TWW S1 any day of the year

Judging 4 seasons vs 1 is not fair. Just because of 10.0.7 ret and all other patches with op busted dh id say tww is better

I would choose TWW, however, with this bunch of bugs, I’ll go with DF.

Idk. Feels like balance was WAY worse df s3/s4 than TWW s1.
Tww has feral, sp, all hunters, all rogues, all locks, frost mage, fury war, ele & enh, ww, and DK all doing solid.
Dflight s3 was entirely dh+ caster that turned into assa rogue+ caster and s4 was entirely assa rogue+dk/caster and splay.
SO much more comp variety and viable specs on ladder RN.
That being said, weaker specs feel weaker comparatively and healer balance was better, but appears to be improving.

I hard agree actually, WoD was absolute fire for pvp. I only said cata and mop because I knew more people would agree with it, easier to get my point across.
DF was still one of my fave pvp expansions of all time though. Maybe I’m biased because I skipped season 2 (augs and rets lol), but I played every other season and it was always very competitive, with lots of specs being strong or at least viable. I don’t ever recall queuing into the same comp over and over again like how right now you only ever see bm/feral or sp/feral. It’s extremely boring.
I remember during wod joking that after 5 years people would remember the expac fondly
