DF Meta Achieve - More than Taivan?

Hey guys, I just wanted to put forth a theory I had in regards to the DF Meta achievement, and give others fair warning too. Not sure if it’s confirmed anywhere or not. However, if you’re looking at the DF Meta Achieve and thinking “I’d rather have a title than a mount” and skipping out, I suggest perhaps pursuing it regardless. Reason being, is I noticed if you look up the achievement it’s in the same category as the Shadowlands Meta Achievement (the returned one) that rewards a mount.

This makes me think that maybe in similarity to Shadowlands, they’ll add a Legacy version of the achievement after it goes away. I’m assuming Taivan will always be there to pursue (in similarity to Zooval’s Soul Eater) but a Legacy version of the achievement will be added during TWW, that rewards a title. So maybe if you want a title, you should pursue the achievement just in case.

It would be nice if we had some clarity from Blizzard about the achievement…

I’ll work toward getting Taivan (super excited for this mount) but that achievement is… nuts. If it’s gone when TWW launches though… that’s a super-fire way to get people to burn out on this game.

Don’t worry. It wont disappear.

I think the achievement will be going away in “some form”. The BFA version went away, and the original Shadowlands one went away too, the one that rewarded “Veilstrider” title. They returned the Shadowlands one (but allow you to earn a mount instead). I think the only thing that needs clarification is which version of this achievement will become Legacy. Will Taivan become a Legacy mount who goes away after DF? Or will he be the reward that stays while the Legacy reward will become a title we don’t know of yet? Or something else? I think Blizzard will do the same thing with the Shadowlands version, where there will be a Legacy Feat version.

BFA Legacy Meta - Azeroth’s Champion
Shadowlands Legacy Meta - Veilstrider
DF Legacy Meta - ???

Meanwhile, maybe the mount ones will become the perma versions for new players.
