They just nerfed UFR by 40%, while also buffing prot warriors in the same notes.
I really do think at this point they are doing this junk on purpose,
They just want too prop up their beloved prot warriors to be the best tanks and make sure bear stays in the trash.
Time too find a new main i guess…

I wonder where is the nerf of mangle dmg. I thought they will nerf mangle 1st, then UFR. I can’t believe I underestimate their foolish. Now I would like to see someone test m+ in beta. Bear might be the 1st tank have trouble under 20 in the history.
The logic behind the nerf of UFR could only because UFR is too powerful in raid, so I think it’s safe to say in DF, raid is more tend to boss+adds. Then it’s quite safe to say, next nerf would be the 2 pc or the mangle dmg. Let’s just wait and see.

Tical, what’s the highest key you’ve finished as bear on the beta? Are you able to compare it to the other tanks? Cuz my experience was having absolutely no issue surviving on DH, DK and warrior, while struggling to survive as bear in pulls half the size. Doing less damage, less personal HPS, and occasionally even having threat generation issues. Struggled through a couple of +10s as bear, and decided to wait for it to get retuned. That tuning is apparently a nerf, the complaints are justified.

See it’s funny…. Cause just a quick read in the beta forum or any of the latest videos are saying the exact opposite.
Our biggest concern going forward right now hasn’t been damage or survivability. It’s the broken class tree and poor pathing along with dead or uninspired talents both the class and spec tree that have most Druids up in arms.
I guess it depends who you’re asking, really. Seems everyone has a different answer.
It’s beyond ridiculous at this point really.

No feedback from the dev team, ofc. This is by far the most neglected spec with basically zero changes or iteration since it was announced.
In my opinion, the damage isn’t terrible but it is FAR from the best. This isn’t a huge issue to me, bear is incredibly hard to balance its damage outside of its CD window. The real issue is the survivability, and of course as Tical said, the pathing and talent options. And fwiw, he is incorrect. There is plenty of feedback and videos saying bear feels like the weakest tank.
