DF abandons WoW’s solo playerbase... but why?

Because they arent going to because this game is a game designed to be played in a group.

So go play a different game.

Or raiding got harder and they realized they couldnt get carried as much.

Nope, not scared of anything. I dont want more solo boring stuff im forced to do because you want to be anti social

Here’s the only reason you need. This is not a solo game. It is an MMORPG. Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Focusing on Solo content is an afterthought because the games focus is on the multiplayer experience, because that is where the money is - that is what draws people to the game and keeps them coming back. Other people.

It’s not about questing alone. It’s not about doing instanced content alone. They tried that with scenarios in MoP. It is about doing group content and interacting with other players.

What you are asking for is a solo player experience in a game designed to be a “massively multiplayer” game. Solo play is not the primary intent of the gameplay experience, so it stands to reason that the development does not prioritize the solo player experience over the multiplayer experience.

At the end of the day if the game doesn’t appeal to all kinds of players then you get less bodies playing and the game will wither.

Either Blizzard adapts for other player experiences or it fizzles out because you’re too stubborn to give ground or change for anyone else.

No account wide rep is further proof that Blizzard hates solo players.

But that doesn’t contribute to mythic dungeons, as you can’t queue for them. The metric I sited for dungeons, was mythic.

If I had cited normal or heroic, you might have a point here.

Snooze is scared oh yes they are snooze is scared of us solo players getting a fourth pillar it will ruin snooze forever.

Yeah take the gear away from raiding and see what happens to your metrics.

I mean, why are you and ard scared of grouping?

Why are you scared of change?

I have been there before seen the toxic wasteland groups bring as a solo player I don’t want to and can not to subject myself again to the cesspool.

Some changes are fine, but buffing the rewards from the area where the rewards to difficulty ratio is already the highest in the game is just bad design.

Then why do you choose to play a game that is (at it’s core), a co-operative multi-player game?

Well damn guess we’re lucky you’re not a dev then.

Cause that just sounds like total crap.

Because I find solo things to do that I find fun been here since Wrath as a solo player I make my own fun but when forced to join a group I cringe. Key word is forced we are forced at times to complete storylines.

Then you must realize how good solo player gearing is this expansion.

My main is 380 I just want a path for us solo players to get better gear like we could have had in torghast.

Well, playing solo you can be ~392 this ptach, and 400 next if you bother.

380 is what I get my alts to in about a day.

Correct. Therefore you are already behind so more options won’t bother you. Especially since you can tune it in a way that its not required to do solo content as well if you could just run M+ instead for gear making it a preference. Stop creating issues where there are none.

I’m not that far behind. And yes more chores to have to do does bother me. Nor should solo content award better than normal content.

Solo players should not get better gear than normal period.

There aren’t any issues in the game. Just with lazy entitled anti social players

We’re like 2 patches in, give it some time.

Not sure if I should argue with you in any way you are either a troll or the most entitled person in history of WoW.

If solo content is more challenging than group content or the same, it should reward the same stuff (see Mage Tower challenge at release). In solo content you are only measured by your own success and cannot be carried by a group therefore it is an even better measurement of your skill. If you can’t handle challenging solo content you don’t have to engage in it thats ok. Stick to your +5 key after you brought your kids to bed, your friends will help you finish it.
