DF abandons WoW’s solo playerbase... but why?

you can’t really say dragonflight is bad for solo players considering you can basically just get low endgame gear to what like 6 or 7 keys doing totally brainless boring things if you enjoy doing brainless things. they need to cave and just make real instanced solo progression where you might actually have to use a few brain cells.

Then why is the OP posting on the forums if they don’t want people to care? Makes 0 sense asking me why I care just because I ask a question. I don’t “care”, per say it was a genuine inquiry. To me it doesn’t matter, even if you guys got 421 drops. I won’t care. Conversely, if you don’t get what you’re asking for. It won’t affect me. I’m just a by-stander so have at it, argue with those who care (HINT: @Raiimir. Go argue with him and ask him why he cares. He’ll tell you) lol

Thing is, I’ve done it already. i just disagree that it’s the good way of obtaining basic gear. Its horrible. And to have to do that on 12 characters?

You’re tripping

Good job blizz. Finally getting it right.

your were the guy complaining earlier about sigils when the relics in zereth were worse than sigils get outta here to get tier.

If this is right, why are people now playing other MMOs more that dont just focus on that stuff?

WoW has more than enough resources to be able to cater to every playstyle

Long story short, I think they’ve pushed content/reward accessibility too far, and it’s damaged the mental of the playerbase.

The more they cater to antisocial players (and they do it more and more, every year), the more the playerbase dwindles.

aka : you’re entitled.

As it stands, you can get basic gear from rares, chests, weekly events, repeatable events, crafting. Then you can also just farm Overflow and sigils, which can provide tier.

You don’t have to do it on 12 characters ? Maintaining 12 alts in a x.0 patch has never been easy nor should it be easy.

Social connections do a better job of keeping players around than solo content does.

Depending on what level you want to maintain those alts at, this is by far the easiest x.0 patch since at least warlords.

Then tell me why dragonflight sold so poorly, and that they are now having trouble keeping players retained?

Shadowlands.

That’s what blows my mind. It’s never been easier than now to maintain an alt in a x.0 patch and this guy still whining. Like go play Hogwarts Legacy.

What this guy really wants is SWTOR TBH

Because there’s a lady on the box art that nobody knows about, rather than a recognizable WoW character. And because they’ve eliminated the Horde/Alliance story.

Put Sylvanas on the box art and trailer? People love it and buy.

Lady with a red hat? Pass.

You could remove the WoW logo from Dragonflight and replace it with any other game’s logo, and nobody would even notice. Dragonflight isn’t a WoW expansion, it’s a Generic Fantasy Game expansion.

Hogwarts legacy the critically acclaimed video game that tens millions of people are playing and loving? WoW wishes it was that good.

Sold “poorly” compared to the biggest launch in PC history :

Yeah, go play it. It’s a solo player RPG.

Hogwarts isn’t running away from its own IP like Dragonflight does.

0 post classic throwaway alts generally aren’t.

I don’t like Harry Potter.
