The last season was just so bad, i basically have no desire to watch this.
I agree, I think this season is meant to remedy that fact.
I’ve always enjoyed Dexter, I rewatch it at least once a year.

Not as bad as the final season of Game of Thrones.

Yea that was a huge disappointment.
The night king finale was absurd.
It’s also in my list of shows i rotate through and watch every so often but i stop at the end of season 4, some of the later seasons have the odd good character or story arc here or there but it’s far more miss than hit.
My favorite season was S2 next to s4, s7 was alright. I thought s8 was even fine till the end and the fate of Debra, I was so pissed about that for the longest time.
I thought this was about the return of Dexter’s Laboratory.
I am so disappointed.

The first 5 seasons were terrific. It went down hill pretty quickly after that. The last season was trash - it was so bad it ruined the rest of the series enough that I can’t go back and rewatch even the earlier seasons.
