Devs supporting Community Managers better

I understand that Community Managers are not Devs and their job is to get the concerns, praises, and all kinds of issues logged, prioritized and sent to the dev team. I also know that CMs don’t have all the answers and can only put out the info the Dev team gives them. I know there can be a lot of data to sift through and it looks like CMs break down what they get to make it easier to put in the forums.

IF it possible can the Devs support the CMs by giving the actual numbers and data the community is looking for. If you are going to say “This fix addresses some spells and abilities that would sometimes not establish a Blood Link” give a list of what spells and abilities are being affected and how. I think in a lot of these cases the community would be a lot happier. ( i know people will still complain about this or that, you can’t make everyone happy) But i think the CMs would be better off with better support for the Dev team.

I think for the community over all you should dedicate a Dev or 2 to handle those types of questions. Devs wouldn’t have to be reply to every post complaining about an issue but it would make a CM’s jobs easier if they could simply give a link to a post explaining in detail the changes that are occurring and why.
