Devs speaking out against blizzard

No, happiness is subjective. I don’t care about his happiness. That wasn’t the point. He chose to live poor, regardless of his feelings.

And?

Incidentally did we ever learn what the story was with the Microsoft Merger?

Still happening or no?

I can see that you’re highly uneducated upon the subject.

Fact of the matter is that many are leaving Blizzard due to cutting down wfh and other places like Riot, which offer wfh and pay way more, are scooping them up.

Is Blizzard’s work getting done? I could argue that bugs, balancing, technical issues, ticket response time, and other facets of this game are by far the worst in WoWs history.

Except it does. And you’re simply denying reality here and subjectively calling it “A myth” out of emotion because you don’t care about your workers.

We can come up with tons of reasons here on what those certain circumstances i’ve mentioned earlier of what they may be, whether to record sound effects, animate people, play test the game on a more powerful hardware, etc. Those are the expections.

But the main reason for why (bad) employers/managers who’s forcing workers to come back to the building is mainly about control. I.E Emotion.

Still happening and Microsoft offers wfh and pays more.

'Kay Bobby Kotick.

This is why remote jobs are becoming more popular, because people like yourself don’t care for the humans that work in your jobs.

They haven’t been working since vanilla, why would they start now?

No, because if it did, WFH would be normalized throughout the workforce. It would be the rule, not the exception.

Except that’s not true either.

Another lie.

Can someone actually say something objective instead appealing to emotion? No? Typical GD.

Again, you’re speaking from emotion. Subjective.

You can spam “It’s a myth, it’s a myth!!” but it’s still subjective on what you’ve said. And wrong.

Says the person who lies and don’t cares about the human cost of jobs.

Lol, talk about projection here, since now you’re doing the childish “I know you are, but what am i” sthick? What a child.

Like honestly, this is why remote jobs are getting more popular, and it makes me glad people like yourself are getting fizzled out of relevance.

It’s all truth, Bobby.

Lol.
I’m sure he means this sincerely…
But lol.

how much are you being paid?

You need to stop talking to the mirror and put it down once in a while, Narcissus.

There are plenty of reasons for wanting workers to return to the office.

While there are certainly benefits to remote working, there are also disadvantages. It’s possible during these past couple of years businesses have weighted the pros vs cons and determined that the pros of working face to face was better for a team and for the business. There’s nothing dodgy about a company doing what’s best for their business model. That’s smart business.

Company’s thrive on a public image. A company cannot project its successes to the public if everyone is working from home, nor can it interact with the public if all of its workers are at home.

that’s such an odd thing to say. most companies in 2023 have email, phone, etc.

He’s not wrong. The smarter ones will leave Blizzard for better paying jobs in the industry that offer WFH and better benefits. Like Riot - which is hiring a lot for its MMO.

That will lead to stagnation and lesser employees that are just yesmen and won’t dare speak out against the Suits that have no idea about the game outside how much profit they’re getting personally.
