Devs speaking out against blizzard

What? I’m not doing any of those things. I was just pointing out you don’t ‘save thousands’ working from home.

Then in comes this blathering about happiness, trailers, and the rest of the nonsense.

I have demonstrated that I do.

Sup. You’re talking to another guy who does save thousands by working from home AMA

No, you’ve simply admitted that you opted to live with less.

I live with more now than I ever had in the past working in Pittsburgh. Sorry that you refuse to believe me. I will have 2 new vehicles, my own home, lots of land for my kids and my dog to run on. I don’t have to worry about crime out here. Good luck with trying to convince people to move back to your crowded hell holes though. No thank you.

Oh and I make more money now because I spend way less while still having all of what I stated.

Armchair economists!

This is exactly what the Internet needs more of: people with no training or education on the topic having very strong opinions about it!

Not a bad idea I never thought to use gpt to respond to the obvious troll.

Why? At least ChatGPT is ARTIFICIALLY intelligent…

Still waiting to read what you ‘think’ inflation is…

His posts have everything to do with happiness. It’s his motivation for making change.

Him: “It’s nice to live in a cheaper area and own more.”

You: “It’s nicer to live in an expensive area and own more than you.”

Fun fact: It’s not actually nicer to live in expensive areas with judgmental pricks for neighbors.

But that has nothing to do what I posted, which was my point. He went off on a tangent about ‘saving thousands’ when in reality he chose to live poor.

OMG this, nosey neighbors are the worst. It was either that or live in a higher crime area. Neither is what I call fun. I was unaware that there was a 3rd option until I found it. I think thats the story for a lot of people now. I am learning new skills and really really happy. I like my neighbors now. There’s drama but its not awkward and I stay out of most of it.

I would choose to live in a more expensive area if the people in said areas were nicer to live around.

I’m still waiting for you to tell me how increasing the price of goods without an increase in the inputs is NOT inflation.

Or about how how us saving money on gas, car depreciation, commute time, food, coffee,(edit CHILDCARE), etc isn’t actually us saving money.

Or just make a little sense.

Don’t.

Save your money, buy some land, and build a house. You’ll be better off than whatever that other clown is talking about lol.

To be fair, bad neighbors are everywhere. I’ve lived in rural areas where my neighbors were shooting their rifles off at all hours of the day and night, and I’ve lived in the city where crack heads wander the street yelling at all hours of the night for no reason except to be a jerk. :person_shrugging:
