Devs just giving up?

Never seen so much player feedback that is all basically aligned and it is just getting straight up ignored.

Devs, what are we doin?

Yeah they put TBC on the back burner. They always do this to TBC and I have no idea why lol. The first go around vanilla was clearly managed daily and weekly to fix issues, wotlk even had multiple new systems put in place to make it more fun, and you know what they did for TBC? Release another version of vanilla in the middle of the expansion lmao.

I’m still enjoying myself but there are def some bugs that I have noticed that probably should be looked at sooner rather than later.

  1. Arena teams are not starting at 1500 mmr and needs fixed
  2. Theres a bug that forces you to stand up when drinking
  3. Theres a bug that locks you out of gruuls lair and you just can’t do him again until a reset
  4. People are saying ele shamans are still bugged with a talent restoring mana I have no idea if this is actually fixed or not
  5. (the most annoying one) the shaman Heroism/Bloodlust glitch where if you release too soon you don’t have your timer reset and you still have sated

These are just bugs I have personally noticed that I remember that probably need looked at.

Just because a player of a game wants something, doesn’t mean it should be done.

Changes to the Classic World of Warcraft game have been and are always a mistake.

Anniversary TBC simply needs the Original Timeline, Progressive Patches, as it was then; resolving into a TBC Era for The Real Classic Playerbase.

What Blizzard should do is:

  • Ban Bots
  • Ban Gold Buyers
  • Ban Gold Sellers
  • Ban the Sale of Raid Loot through: GDKP, HR, etc. for Gold
  • Ban Character Leveling Boosts for Gold
  • Ban Character Boosts for Money (Blizzard Paid Service)
  • Ban Arena Carries for Gold

Changing the game instead of simply getting rid of the issues that cause changes is just a mask The Real Classic Playerbase has seen again and again with Blizzard. We do not trust Blizzard. We do not forget. We do not forgive. We are The Real Classic Playerbase.

The devs already made many changes to TBC based on feedback that seemed to be aligned across the board. This is what they did.

And everyone is pissed. No one is satisfied. People who don’t want changes are bitter and people who want changes only want more.

The whole forums are now just people asking for this and for that. It doesn’t matter what the devs do. It’s not going to scratch the itch for people who have been playing video games on a daily basis for far longer than their memory are able to wind back anymore.

That being said I’m sure a lot of what people are asking for will be stealth dumped with the next phase. Gives a little time for people who actually having fun to enjoy it for what it is.

Other then banning the bad actors, there’s not much to do. People are enjoying the game, reasonnable people know what to expect of TBC and cruises without issues, the complains you see here are people that refuse to accept the game as it is but keep playing hoping it would change (it won’t) and is definitely a minority.

  1. Players need to play around 50+ games to get their hidden mmr to 1500. not a bug.
  2. meh, just drink again
  3. never heard of this one.
  4. never heard of this one and I play ele sometimes in raid.
  5. you’re not in range of the boss dying so you don’t get the reset. this should only happen once before you learn not to release.

very minor problems you listed.

bro they ignored our spamming that means they just gave up

The worst part about dead internet theory is constantly being gaslit about obvious spam posts being “the majority” like the spam posts arent obvious at all.

yeah I’m glad Blizzard realized this in regard to honor gains

So your response to my list of glitches is essentially. “Yeah you’re right it is glitched”. Well thanks I guess for confirming my list of glitches is in fact glitches.

If they follow the usual pattern we won’t see anything from the Devs until a week before Phase 2

The only major decisions they have left open are phase release dates and pre vs post nerf. Anything beyond that I would not get my hopes up

They have like 2 unpaid interns on the Classic team don’t expect much.

Irrelevant to this post referencing an overwhelmingly shared opinion.

I’m not sure any justification for this insane statement. The playerbase today is way different, causing degenerate gameplay trends.

Agreed

So, TK/SSC on release?

These two would be one of your “changes” from release and you’re against all changes.

Everything

I think banning players from spending in game gold on in game services or items is bad game design. Let me do what I want with my gold, please.

I’ll have to disagree. The best items in the game were never intended to be sold for gold/money.

They were intended to be sold with DKP? With votes? Favors?

Why not in game gold?

Sure.

This being obtainable outside of raid and the fact that raid pieces are BoP mostly indicates that. Why have an advantage just because you swiped? If you’re not doing DKP or Loot Council to where all of your actions are benefitting the guild, nobody should have to pay for loot they are raiding for. Why even do that if you can get it for free in a guild? Oh wait, because bots exist and inflate the pool with swipers so everyone that gets a cut is getting free bot gold. This is why people talk it up. Nobody actually likes having to farm gold in order to get items they raid for. Everyone who likes gdkp likes it because it’s easy gold.

You can’t with a straight face and honestly tell me that it was the dev’s intention for glaives to go to a quest greens geared rogue buyer for 1 million gold or whatever. If you defend that at all, it’s not even worth responding.
