Devs avoiding forums

I got a 5 week ban for saying the sapped joke…

who would be following a WoW dev on x, if they aren’t a WoW fan?

I don’t know where else they should post information if they are going to avoid the forums, but it needs to be on the site the service is provided, not a third party. We shouldn’t be obligated to follow the developers’ personal X accounts to get information regarding the game.

At a minimum we should be getting a weekly update. It would take 5 minutes for them to type up a summary of what is being worked on and what has been accomplished. His most recent excuse for not providing frequent updates in his X post was due to the time that would be involved in “presenting” said updates compared to just continuing to work. That’s such a lame excuse.

look man if they spent all their time telling us they were working on fixing the immune message displaying on totems, or telling us pre-emptively that they’re going to address an issue that caused quest “Goblin Solutions” to sneakily steal extra mines from you, then none of that important work over the last month in P3 would have gotten done.

there are only 5 devs working on the entirety of Classic, SoD, and Cata in a small mineshaft at the bottom of Blizzard HQ tunnels. Blizzrosoft is like Rasputia, when the team tells them “but we need more staff, it’s not enough” they tell them “then make it enough”

9k people worked on D4 btw

I haven’t used Twitter since 2012, but I believe people who don’t follow others can still repost their tweets for more visibility. Even if someone isn’t following Aggrend, they still may see his tweets if it gets enough attention and engagement from other users.

Here we go again. Latest post from Aggrend on X. Still not a single blue post with an update.

"Alrighty friends, we are ramping up for Season of Discovery PTR, are finishing a few things up, and fixing a few bugs before we go live. Just wanted to give an update before EoD Monday so you know we are still working towards getting it out in the next few days, just need to finish a few things up first.

Looking forward to talking about SoD a whole lot more again over the next few weeks!"

What happened to them “wanting player feedback”? Well this is it.
Theyre gunna get negative feedback if they have problems that need attention. this is how you know what to address and fix. But, it definitely feels like we’ve been abandoned here.

Naw man if SoD was its own sub mine wouldve expired awhile ago lol.
Maybe thats what they should do so they can hire some more devs cause it’s disappointing to see something that had alot of potential flop.

They post on twitter hoping attract new customers. They care more about potential customers than the ones already in the trap.

Logically, theyre trying to eliminate the corruption before the next gen swings in.

Be honest, if you’d have to deal with morons like most of you people, wouldn’t you also avoid these forums?
