Back in vanilla only undead priests could learn devouring plague. I’m assuming its going to be the same way in classic?
Yes.
And dwarves get fear ward.
Sure will. Races will have their own unique spells such as Fear Ward and Dev. Plague.
Forsaken are also actually ‘Undead’ as well. Paladins and Priests mess them up. By the Light!
priests will still have unique race skills, ye. Pretty neat thing
they’re not in 1.12 i believe
Undead: Devouring Plague and Touch of Weakness
Troll: Shadowguard and Hex of Weakness
Night Elf: Elune’s Grace and Starshards
Human: Desperate Prayer and Feedback
Dwarf: Desperate Prayer and Fear Ward
They were changed from being game tagged as “undead” in the alpha or beta, I believe, thus the change to the name Forsaken.
I don’t think they were ever “undead” in the live game.
Only in the beta kid, only in the beta.
A raid’s best friend in Ony for sure!
Man, I forgot about priests having racial abilities. Never been a priest fan but I will say that its a cool flavor.
It makes it an MMORPG, and not an MMO Action Game.
…yes…only undead
What is the cooldown on fear ward in 1.12? Is it 30 seconds?
Yes 30 secs. Also devouring plague is 3 min CD and 900 mana at max rank, and can be dispelled by priests, paladins, and shamans. If you’re going horde priest and you’re gonna be shadow, highly reccomend troll
Are there any other classes that have race specific spells or just priest?
I cannot think of any.
Mmmmm, I can’t remember in Vanilla. I know in TBC Horde and Alliance Paladin’s had unique seals and I remember the Horde Seal of Blood being better. It’s honestly been so long that I can not remember if there were any more or not.
it was like that back in the vanilla beta. WOTF also used to be a perm buff. things changed before release.
From what I remember it isn’t DP that has people playing Undead, it is WotF.
Also, I think all dwarfs can remove it. I wouldn’t worry about shamans though, unless you care about winning duels.
Actually no, they removed that previous to the 1.12 patch they’re using for classic.
