Why is it just a slightly reskinned havoc form? Shouldn’t it be a unique form?
And with dh getting some love could they get some customisation options for their demon forms like druids got?
Maybe let you pick your meta form between the 2 base models regardless of spec and change a few aspects of their customisation.
Yeah i had a similar thought the other day. It looks amazing, don’t get me wrong. But wouldn’t it make more sense that they metamorphose into a void creature, and not a demon? That’s their whole deal.
It also ties into my bother about the spec being a mid range caster. Because mid range caster is like an evoker. And with them spending much of their time in demon form they’ll be zipping around the battlefield as a large winged creature. Also like an evoker!
Because making new unique models costs money which Blizzard is trying to avoid.
Why do you think it’s only Void Elf DH’s and not idk Nightborne or something as well?
Because they’d need at least a touch of new textures, maybe an adjusted model.
Meanwhile Void Elves just get all the Blood Elf assets and it’s done.
Because they’re still Demon Hunters using the demon within themselves to temper the amount of power they use.
This creats a potential issue for Void Elves at least lorewise which would be better suited to talk in story forums.
Will Void Elf Demon Hunters be trained to still be Illidaris? Will they go through the eye gouging ritual? If all we have are some Void Elves using their void powers it wouldn’t make much sense for them to tap into Demons and Fel.
Hopefully it’s something we’ll learn in their intro quests.
I’d assumed Void Elf Demon Hunters were Blood elf Demon Hunters who became Void Elves, and joined the Alliance. That just makes the most sense to me as it works around the whole idea of making new ones.
The other specs don’t metamorph into demons. They metamorph into fel empowered elves.
Devourer doesn’t metamorph into a void creature. It metamorphs into a void empowered elf.
They’re all still elves in any case.
Why is bliz so cheap/lazy?
There’s a short storyline to unlock Velf DHs in Midnight. We’ll have to play through that and hope it’s not something dumb like “because we felt like it” again. Yes, I’m still salty about that with Lightforged Warlocks. lol
