Housing starts in Dec, the Haranir are available on launch day (not early access); so my question is:
When do Devourer DHs become available? Dec? The pre patch? Launch Day?
would be on pre patch. new classes and specs have been on pre patch since legion.

That is what we would expect, yes. But new races also come in around that time and this go-around they they won’t be.
So I figure it’s worth asking. That and Blizz has been shifting a lot of their operational procedures this last couple of years. Change from the norm wouldn’t surprise me.
earthen were unlocked about a week after launch if memory serves. there were some timegated side quests that were required to unlock the race. I would largely expect a similar treatment for haranir.

A youtuber playing on the Alpha, MrGM I think, said that there was a questline in the actual expansion. So you’re right, it probably won’t be something we can see and get used to until everything has already launched.
