Just some design flaws I’ve seen while playing the spec. Genuinely surprised these weren’t patched out in alpha or beta.
Void Ray Movement. They cast it a lot. There is a lot of fire in the game. Why is the movement reduction so heavy for Void Ray? Even with current stats it’s slow, which only means it’ll get so much worse in Midnight.
Void Ray Soul Shard Generation. It’s wild to get bad luck Void Rays to only generate 1 or 2 shards. RNG is bad. Always. Make Soul Shard Generation set to a certain amount of souls then let it taper off.
Void Nova. Make a glyph or option for it to be like Fel Nova and aimed around the caster. It’s been hell trying to deal with Xal with Void Nova.
Collapsing Star instantly bricking itself and the souls used if the target dies before its cast goes off. Cmon guys it’s 2026. Blizz has so many ways they can cheat or bypass this already in the game. WW Monk’s Lightning would retarget if the first one died. They could just make it an AoE targeting a patch of ground, but bake it into the spell so there doesn’t need to be a mouseover. I’m like half sure Flameshaper evoker has that already or had that since idk what changes they have for midnight.
