Quest will not progress. I understand that I need to die for it to complete but when I die, nothing changes. I get the usual option to release and then nothing. I’ve tried multiple times, abandoning quest & re-trying, et cetera.

Having the exact same problem trying to finish loremaster. I’m literally just this zone away from being finished.
Edit: Putting in a ticket to see if they can complete it for me.
Same here, tried it yesterday and after dying twice, both times I was ported to the graveyard so wasn’t able to make progress to complete it.
Edit: the quest isn’t bugged. You need to kill a few mobs first (~10) and then you’ll notice their spawn rate increases, at which point you can stop and die. This will complete the quest.
Slovack must have gotten lucky then. I stripped all gear, killed a bunch of the slimes and I only die a normal death with no quest progression. I would agree that something is wrong with the quest right now.
This just worked for me today and I was able to click on the updated quest log to see the cutscene
Hey Kilriven, i didn’t get a notification to your message so apology for not seeing it earlier. Try killing a couple of mobs first, approximately 10, and then try to die. That’s the only way that it worked for me.
