Yes I would keep it, because my memories help define who I am. The people who want to ‘let it go’ haven’t had to deal with the visceral terror and pain that memory loss inflicts. As someone who has had memory issues due to a TBI, no.thank.you.

Am I the only one who thinks Devos looks a bit like Denise Crosby with some of her facial expressions? Maybe I’ve just got Star Trek on my brain because of Tim Russ voicing one of the other Kyrian, but she reminds me a bit of Crosby as Tasha Yar in TNG.

What you’re saying makes no sense.
Pelagos is an Aspirant. He’s not fully Ascended yet, and so he yet retains some few memories of his past life. I believe he’s said that he doesn’t remember very much, like what race he was or where he was from, or even what he actually looked like when he was alive.
Just that he lived his life as a woman before, and when he died he was able to choose a new form, one that felt more right.
Similarly, Vashj actually had her Night Elven form returned to her when she died, but chose to return to her naga appearance. I think it was because she didn’t really want to be seen as beautiful, but powerful.

When you live a life along time you amount to alot of memories both good and bad,expand it to a thousand years ,friends and family pass away ,society changes ,wars come and go,yet your there through all of it,reborn over and over ,soon you will forget the time and forget everything because there is too much stored.You’ll need to reboot.
I’d like to forget it on my own, rather than purge everything to serve some nebulous ‘greater good’.
