If they don’t move the recipe rat to the main room on the bottom floor, that food recipe is going to be really hard to get once the FR becomes a ghost town in a week.

It’s a cheaper alternative to the fortune cookies. I still need the recipe, so I’m going to farm up a bajillion keys incase I don’t get the recipe rat for a while.
Make sure you got the right cheese with you too and a large amount of it while you have him…you need Fine Aged Cheddar…that can only be gotten in Tanaris…at the lost outpost.
Fine aged cheddar, I think. He just wasn’t in my vault last week.
Tauren innkeeper in Orgrimmar sells it, too.

For me it’s Trias’ Cheese or nowhere.
With a crate of their fine aged cheddar that recipe was mine in short order.

I got bored one day and didn’t even bother with the cheese… I just sat there and kept picking up the rat when it respawned every 10m or so.

The people who complain about needing to use 3rd party sites are the same people buying your cheese for 1000% markup.
you know you can use a target macro to see if the rat is in the vault

This is what I did on day 1 of the vaults, except I didn’t have to wait 10 mins for it to respawn, just 5 mins for the cooldown. It was just… always there. It also helped that it was one of the first doors I opened, so I just kept going back to its door for more scraps every other door I opened.
Sure saved me a good amount of cheese dosh.

Just find the rat and keep cheese for him to eat. You can just keep clicking it while you do whatever. You don’t even have to be in the vault. More helpful?
You have to get him from the vault and he’s not always there. I know how to get him. Did you read any of the posts in the thread? Stop trolling. It takes keys to get him and if you can’t get keys because nobody is farming the rares, then you can’t get him.
