Devilsaur mafia... again

Surprising nobody, cross faction collusion is a pretty big deal down in silithus right now. Multiple guilds on both horde and alliance are in a non aggression pact with each other, and killing everyone else that isn’t in their club. It’s absolutely unplayable, and infuriating to see.

Before I get hit with the ‘back in vanilla, it was a gankfest too’ argument, you really only had to worry about the other faction. But right now I’m watching multiple guild teams on both alliance and horde only killing people that aren’t in the clique, and leaving each other alone.

The worst part is, aside from just individually reporting people for cheating, there really isn’t much that can be done. Cross faction is obviously against the ToS, but just look at how effective reporting has been for botters in the game too

Time to start your own anti devilsaur mafia with the alliance. God speed

well when everyone wants the mount and there can only be very few of them, we’re going to maximize the most we can to ensure OUR people get one, wasting time fighting the other faction hurts both sides.

So build your own alliance.
It may be a bit late though. Sounds like something smart guilds thought of months ago.

The entire story of this event is about the Horde and Alliance coming together to fight a greater threat and you’re mad about players actually doing that.

lmao

Why do you think retail moved away from these kind of events? Why do you think they made world bosses less relevant content? Why do you think they removed master looting from the game? Because in general people are jerks to one another in a virtual world. The solution for these problems are all present in retail and many of them are really good solutions.

Doesn’t sound like that’s what he’s mad about at all, actually.

You guys better open the gate since your pissing people off left and right.

CHOP CHOP GET THEM DOOR OPEN

This is a good point.

I couldn’t give a gruff about it tbh

every thing in classic wow pretty much comes down to one thing, waving around your epeen while trying to chop others off. “I want to be special and be the only one. Look at how big my epeen is”

i have 200 mount on retail. I would delete them all cuz mount are irrelevant and people that care about them are equally irrelevant when it come to that specific mentality but hey ‘‘i hate you for thinking that mount as value but am sure we can work things out’’

Cross-faction collusion isn’t against the rules anymore. Blizzard would need to actually pay old school game masters to prevent it from happening, so they just say it is “against the spirit of the game” and leave it at that.

Yes, that greater threat of other horde and alliance players.

From an RP/story perspective, yeah its all about horde and alliance working together. From the functional mechanics of the game, no it’s not. Cross faction collusion is and always has been against Wow’s Terms of Use, and to see that so openly disregarded is what I made the post about.

I’m not mad that horde and alliance are working together. I’m mad that a fairly large part of the game is actually unplayable because people are breaking the rules .

makes you wonder how much gold are they making from this? because its fairly obvious they are working together to ensure anyone that isnt paying them wont even get a shot at the mount or the title

Il be honest if the big dog guild on my server end up leaving because because they cannot open the door after reserving the area. I dont think i will be able to let it go.

YOU BETTER OPEN THE Gate just saying

Oh, you know they’re making bank. They’ve done this with the devilsaur leather to keep the AH price super high back in phase 1. And they still do it with pvp brackets to this day. I’m not saying that those instances of collusion/scummy behavior were fine then, but I do think it’s apples and oranges to compare manipulating the price of some leather, and blocking off a very large quest chain and story flavor.

It’s courtesy of the same guilds who already wrecked 2 servers (Stalegg and Incendius). The alliance saw a carrot and went along with it. I was warned awhile ago but with people from my guild not wanting Scarab Lord I didn’t push anything.

I’ve been happy with the PVP brackets for the most part so this I will not agree with (sorry)

Welcome to a pvp server, enjoy.
