Why not??? That’s a beyond obvious yes. I mean yea… they going to try and steal from you then but probably would anyways.
Probably not. I would be very cautious of this as to give yourself or your guild a bad reputation.

I’d sy yes to stealing it from the opposing faction. By steal I mean fight for it. I will kill any and all horde I see mining rich thorium veins, which I assume is like the devilsaur of mining.
Now stealing from your faction is just plain rude. You are on the same faction as them, they are your allies and they will probably do something out of spite like steal your kill’s leather. Play nice, if you kill the opposing faction then there are enough devilsaurs to go around. Just need to fight for them instead of splitting them 50/50.

Maybe because I play on a PVE server and I’m not really an a$$hole, but I follow the same rules as skinning any other mob: He who gets the kill and loots get dibs on the leather. If that person then moves away without skinning, then and only then would I rush in and claim it.

Yes. There is no better feeling than Sap/Blinding a disgusting Horde player while they are skinning and forcing them to watch you take their leather.

Devilsaur hunting is only fun if your fighting for it, also no such thing as stealing something that is free for the taking.

Furthermore should you have “spies” on your own faction coordinate with the opposing faction to kill their own faction so that their guild can get the devilsaur loots after the horde has had their turn
This happens too on most high pop pvp servers
Do YOU want other players (of either faction) stealing your leather? No? Then don’t do it to them!

Stealing from the opposing faction on a PvP server is an excellent thing to do that should be encouraged.
Anything else? Not so much.
On a PVP server, you should absolutely 10000% always steal it from the opposing faction if you can.
Stealing it from your own faction or opposing faction on a PVE server is poor taste and absuing an oversight of game mechanics.
Yes, especially on PVP realms.

Yes. Yes and Yes. I also steal from the devilsaur Mafia’s though. We have set up counter forces on my server full of rogues to bully them.

That being said not everyone can skin so if you see someone just killing and not skinning on your own faction, go for it or just message them and ask.
