Atrophic poison is a raid buff. It just needs to be buffed more and return CloS to 1 minute. Givng lust to Rogues would be OP and Rogues would have to be nerfed somewhere else.
the problem is they never liked rogue to begin with. this class has been on a downward trend since TBC. and to an extent its blizzards decision to put rogue where it is. clearly they dont want rogue in raids if thats what the players decided to do to push content.

Like I have said several times - Rogue is not a magic ball caster, nor a magic warrior, nor a pet class. Therefore, maybe there’s a few people who like Rogue at Blizzard, but the vast majority of devs don’t care, because it’s not their favorite style.

Ok watched it. Again, keep saying it, just give Rogues the option of 3 different raid buffs. Let each perform better in different scenarios.

WoW team balances the game so if everyone has lust or rez it becomes a situation where it spirals out of control. Rogues bringing lust would make them OP. The goal is BALANCE ladies and gentlemen!
Having 4 classes bring lust means that you’re always going to have to have 1 if the 4 in the group if you want the group to be the most effective, 2 of them can be healers and Shaman ends up being a popular choice in M+ regularly. Battle rez is more wide spread, and it happens that every other class that is pure dps has battle Rez or lust.
And yet, the lust classes don’t suffer from lack of utility, lack of damage, lack of healing - it’s asinine to say that it should be restricted when it’s a requirement to effectively do competitive content. They should move it to roles for Battle Rez and Lust, or rogue should perpetually be the strongest class because it’s the most shoe horned into being some form of melee damage dealer.

You’re the one saying rogues should get lust, which is exactly what a new rogue would say! They don’t understand why it would be a bad idea

WoW team will never balance lust this way and why it would not work. They do not balance along a spectrum of even distribution of group comps.
They want physical comps for example and other comps because that is what they do balance around. If you all have not picked up on this that explains why Furry Warriors and Outlaw Rogues are still balanced this way regarding their respected caps and damage profiles.
Consequently this is why they do not want an even distribution of raid buffs because they want some parity that is beyond predictable and cookie cutter. If every group has lust and rez then well they do not want to balanced and build endgame this way. That is their choice even if we disagree.
So no Rogues are not going to be obtaining lust, rez or a new raid buff. Rogues must make do with what they have with iconic Rogue tools like Shroud and Atrophic poison.
Bruh, if they pay attention to your feedback I’ll never be back to rogue. Treating lust as something on a pedestal and relegating group comps that exclude one of the 4 classes that have it is archaic and just means that group comps will always be limited and further meta gamed. Having a Prot/MW/Rogue/Ret/DK would be funny as hell with melee being crowded, but no one will do it in any serious degree because halving the efficacy of lust means it’s not viable beyond a certain point
Shroud is watered down to being nearly negligible, and until they bring back niche uses where it’s worth bringing a rogue (and they do commensurate damage to warrant it) it’s not even worth mentioning as a class feature.
Atrophic poison, the topic of the thread? That may not be sufficient to bring a Rogue period because they don’t have enough other upside?

its best not to take anything Mafic says seriously, he’s a new player and doesn’t really do any content besides queued battlegrounds and has no real perspective on pve gamepaly or balance

You are always welcomed to Rogues but Rogues are a PVP class first and foremost and lust does not fit the Rogue thematics profile.

Hmm…so in this instance rogues should just stick to what they are good at then. PVP. forget dungeons, delves, pve, world quests. STICK TO YOUR PLACE. Rogues are not and have not ever been balanced around anything but pvp. …. …. there is no place for a rogue not on the battlegrounds or arena that is what i’m hearing from you. Sucks to be me
