Developer Update: A Look at What’s Ahead for Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Youve mentioned this before… FOR LFR. You couldnt even differentiate the two systems and Im to believe you? LOL

Yes, a freefall that went up and down throughout the games lifespans and not just the expansion launches that you mentioned. Oh and before the freefall comment you embarassingly said that the population only went down in Wrath after RDF launch. Even after being shown charts that showed you were wrong

And after wrath was when dps queue times started to spike into the 1+ hour range.

During wrath even off hours they were in the 30-60 minutes range max.

Please don’t change WOTLK Naxx. It’s easiness was a big part of being able to instantly jump into the content and play whatever spec you want. This change will just encourage elitism and stop my guild from bringing my friends along when we have an open spot.

Again, im not saying it happened all the time, but it did happen.

You are basically claiming its impossible for lightning to strike the same spot twice, yet it happens, especially with the invention of the lightning rod which created the “perfect storm” for lightning to hit the same spot twice.

The dead hours of the morning was the lightning rod that created the perfect conditions to make rdf occasionally go over a 2 hour wait. A large majority of those 12 million people did not play at 2 am.

But please keep telling me you know my experiences better than i do.

Like I said, its your story, we’re only reading it.

I actually don’t know what you’re talking about anymore, I’ve never really chosen to discuss my memory of queue times for LFR on this forum. In fact I historically never even ran in LFR, like ever.

You seem to be having a conversation with yourself atm.

Nope…pretty much just expansion launches…

No such thing occurred lol.

I never blatantly made the claim that RDF caused the downfall of WoW by itself.

I really don’t give any flying pieces of monkey matter what you are any other toxic pro-RDF poster wants to say, I’m allowed to share my experience, and if you don’t like it, don’t read it.

I’m not going to spend all day debating the reality of my experience with a bunch of disingenuous trolls over something so trivial (but still true).

Yes you have mentioned it before, you can look through your posts where you said you had queue times for raid. I remember these things well.

Again, please learn how to read charts.

Ohhh its so awesome when the pot calls the kettle black

I never said you claimed that rdf caused the downfall… You did however say that the population only went down after RDF released. This was shown to you to be false.

Sure, buddy ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Sure, buddy ¯_(ツ)_/¯

A skill you’ve masterfully trained…

I also said I don’t count expansion launches.

Given that exception, it’s pretty true.

So…which patch we releasing on? Oh wait…the one with RDF implemented.

Apparently we trained at the same place.

On this scale…

Very satisfied <-----------------------------------> Very very angry-mad

Where do you think you exist on on this simple chart I’ve constructed here when it comes to RDF’s removal?

<------------------------|-----> here about?

Well, the good part about “infinite” queue times, you can make your own group like you apparently want. In fact, the funniest part about anti RDF commenters is…they don’t have to use it, like ever. It does force others to waste time though.

Ah, look, that same argument that Blizzard already styled on and put to pasture-

You don’t like it? Go play something else. It’s one of their design pillars now.

Im not mad at all, I know its going to be reverted so Im just waiting for it to happen.

At this point I’m more just impressed by their willingness to sabotage their own games by being completely out of touch. I guess I shouldn’t be after seeing them double down on bad decision after bad decision in retail.

Yeah its funny how much of a disaster they’re making Classic. Cant trust retail decisions and now you cant trust Classic decisions either. They will have to look back on these decisions one day though

No they won’t. The people claiming the decisions are a disaster are still subscribed anyway.

Peanut gallery decided to chime in

You were shown proof that in these forums that someone unsubscribed because of the rdf decision and all you responded with was

“What is this supposed to be”

You’re just gonna keep repeating that line over and over again.

Well, it is the truth. You yourself will be playing Classic Wrath for its entirety no matter what changes they make.

What proof was I shown? Please cite it.
