I see the goal posts are shifting to “Well if you don’t want it, nobody is FORCING you to buy it” now.
Ah, GD. Never change.

Windrunner set for 149$
And you want this cute little gnome, right?
You cant find a way to make fishing enjoyable? You cant find a way to force yourself to do a World Tour of old raids once a week?
“This can be an inefficient, inconvenient, and often tedious process when a player wants to purchase multiple items.”
Online stores allow you to purchase multiple items with zero hassle or tedium. The Internet is full of them.
Not once have I purchased anything paying with real money and thought “This is inefficient, inconvenient or tedious”. You add items to a basket, pay for the basket.
“Smaller Housing items in the shop are often low cost and players will want to purchase multiples of them to complete a set. As an example, you may want a full set of chairs to place around a dining table, multiple place settings for your invited guests, or even many candles to help decorate the room for a complete look. Using an in-game currency can help make the process of obtaining many of these types of inexpensive items more efficient.“
Let’s say said chairs come to a total of $6 worth of virtual currency, and the store only sells it in $5 batches. Now you’re forcing players to buy $10 of currency when they only wanted to spend $6.
This is incredibly anti-consumer and is not more efficient at all.
This whole justification and to be blunt, the lies in it, is just insulting to players.
This is sad.
I know a lot of folks were excited about housing, but I have stated several times – temper that expectation.
What the customer wants and what MicroBlizz delivers usually are two different things, so always set the bar low and expect the worst from MicroBlizz, and you’ll at least you will not be disappointed (as much).
“We’ve said it before and we’ll keep saying it, but please keep your feedback coming.”
Oh don’t worry about that. You’re about to get swamped.
Trust me, I have tried all the “get rich quick” schemes of wow during content low times, I just turn the game off and do something else instead. Its just not content I enjoy or care to do
‘But you can blow all 200 of your decoration slots making a makeshift greenhouse! It’s a dream come true! BE HAPPY, NOW!’ -some players, legitimately
More feedback…. can hearthsteel be traded to other players? Like can I buy my mythic raid boost with hearthsteel instead of gold?
It wasn’t “coping.” It was a logical theory, based on Traders Tender datamined icons that were meant for China.
A wrong one? Apparently.
And I just find it to be a really stupid convoluted step, when all they had to do was make bundles you could purchase more than once with cash.
Content creators I am looking for explanation now :
Soul
Taliesen
I mean, I get that.
But…there are so many avenues to make gold these days. If you are only ‘doing what you like’, that must mean, what…either doing old content, of which you are doing the absolute least profitable thing, or Sitting in Trade?
The amount of feedback will make the Burning Legion seem small
You know what, Blizzard?
Congrats.
I’m not spending a single dollar on player housing.
It was one of the features I was most hyped for in WoW.
Now it’s the one I care about the least.
Cosmetics are one thing — I can flex those in the city or in a raid.
But housing? It’s way too niche.
Yeah, you lost me with this one.
I already didn’t like housing, now the fact I can pretty safely assume the stuff I would want will be paid only basically killed it entirely for me lol
Housing sucked and was major garbage I would never consider using since they showed the features, and my sub will be over my Midnight so this doesn’t affect me but it’s still hilarious to watch.
Please do not gate items behind the shop. Please let players acquire them via in-game methods as well.
These particular creators are essentially just hype men for everything Blizzard does. 100% glazing and that’s all their content is.
You should take everything they say as the most positive promo they can make.
Ironically that’s the only reason they are some of the more favored creators on these forums.
You wanted to see the best in Blizzard. I wish they were better too.
