the range on the spells being so short makes it really tough =(
by the time im in range to even attack anybody on the enemy team… i put myself in death grip / stun / root range and im just screwing myself
all i get to do is a deep breath every 60 seconds and afk in between
this is peak garbage game design. kudos

Better than being in melee imo.
Melee specs tend to have decent survivability and/or escape tools.
Devastation has nearly all the downsides of melee range with the added “joy” of cast times and the durability of a crippled rabbit.

You got like 5 methods to get out. Those arn’t good enough? 6 if you add time spiral.
Referring to deep breath, rescue, verdent embrace and 2x charges of hover.
