so i was running the algorithims and it seems demon huntars are totally undetuned, and need more improvements
such as baseline 15% leech + talents
metamorphisis need to go like 2-3 min cooldown max with covenant ability to make less
and we need maybe a ability to pick peopel up with our wings in pvp and carry them on high and drop them for maximum damage like some bosses do
just so we can stand on pars with druilords.
also unnerf paladins, the only true ally of dmeon hunter.

Yeah. And we need to be completely immune to blinds in pvp. For obvious reasons.

Our damage is good but we are still defensively very under tuned. I think we should get more defensives or just more base leech

It’s a travesty that we, with no eyes, can still be blinded.
And yes, Meta also needs to have its cd reduced. It’s ridiculous.

Offense-wise, meta CD needs to be reduced and First Blood needs to be baseline.
Defense, they need to complete the leech buff and bring it back to Legion/BFA levels. Some sort of stun-break might be nice, too, for the pvp crowd.

Maybe not legion. 100% leech during meta was fun, but damn was that OP.

They’d have to make us immune to all disorients to make that happen. Thematically this definitely makes sense, but DH being immune to an entire school of cc would be so overpowered that most competitive dps players would just reroll DH.

When we tell Blizz feedback they come with the worst way of fixing it. They gave us a conduit for extra 3% leech in the hunter covenant. So now we can get 13… They still don’t get it. That is very very low since any other class can insta healthemself for 20 or 30 % in one global cd… While DH needs 20 seconds of constant fight in meta to get it back.
Blur been a 50% chances that was fixed in this patch (i still have suspicious that doesn’t work) so let’s say is a 20% damage reduction still nothing compared to classes they get a shield for 8 and is like having another hp bar. Yes we need to consider the cooldowns of those skills but when arenas fight last less than a minute the reality is that everyone pop all CDs at the begging of the fight.

Honestly leech does need tuned up a little (really it needs to be BFA level), but something really needs done about our defensives. Damage feels good, but I die so fast in stuns it’s unreal. When I see mage rogue in 2s I feel its almost an auto loss. There’s literally nothing I can do. The last match I blew blur AND darkness into their second go and still died. I used netherwalk vs their first go and my shaman still ended up having to use trinket because they just hard swapped him and he almost died. When they can pull both trinkets in the first go you’re going to die one min later. They pumped full cds into the only defensives I have. Rogue popped evasion and I can’t leech. I’m certainly not getting on a mage with a rogue on my back to leech. My shaman sat a blind into a duel.

Every class has a weakness. Except warrior, but RM is hard for DH/healer. I suggest if you wanna 2s run with an r Druid. It’s harder for them to get polyd and they can pounce rogue on opener.

I need the leech so I can go back to 1-manning Illidaddy in Mythic Nighthold.
I mean, the more the merrier, but sometimes that third wheel is such a drag.

I think since they changed Darkness to 50% chance instead of 70% talented it needs to change to miss chance like shadowpriest with fade and let us use it while stunned alongside Netherwalk since it replace our leech. I think those 2 changes plus an 10% leech increase would be more than enough.

I thought their idea was 50% dodge from blur and getting another 50% from darkness that’s make 100%. I thought that’s is like the rogue evasion.

So, at 1600 mmr, you’re claiming there’s literally no room for improvement? That if two multi-r1’s went into mage rogue as dh x they would lose because there’s nothing that can be done?

You see 1600. It was one que session, with over a 60% win ratio @ 2-2.1k mmr. You can ask even high rated DH. They are having the same issue. There is always room for improvement. Standing in darkness and using blur while still dying seems a bit absurd. 50% dodge and 50% chance to miss attacks and still dying insanely fast isn’t a L2P issue as much as it’s a weak defensives issue.
