Since the flameshaper tree is almost never used in pvp, it would make sense to take away some of the pvp nerfs to engulf. Eternity surge hits harder with a random proc from the scintillation talent. Thanks
Nope.
Flameshaper is intended to be awful.
Therefore, no changes until it’s completely redesigned. I wouldn’t be surprised if they change the name of it as well.
We might see it redesigned around Shadowflame.
Anyone else see that warlock trying to corrupt our pure draconic magic?
Away with thee, wielder of shadow and death!
I am a servant of the Draconic Fire, wielder of the flame of Alexstrasza. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Sargeras. Go back to the Shadow! You shall not pass!
Frankly, Maneuverability should just be baseline for Deep Breath. The targeting option is so limited in PVP. It’s one of those talents that just makes the spec feels so much better that it’s a shame to limit it to a select hero talent.
Aye, lvling a evoker, just got to 80 yesterday but man, deep breath going to base to heroic talents is like night and day.
It just feels better with maneuverability. But scalecommander just makes dev evokers just so much better to play in general. Mass disintegrate is just fun to use.
If they buff flameshaper, we will see WAY more calls for maneuverability to become baseline I reckon.
scalecommander is really insane, it improves devastation’s gameplay a lot, while flameshaper has a weird and unpleasant playstyle
You can tell they only truly had scalecommander in mind for Dev evokers. So many of it just synergizes with the playstyle. Kinda fits like daiblost or soul harvester for warlocks.
It’s funny, before, I didn’t see myself playing as a scalecommander, nowadays I play as a scalecommander in all the game’s content, even deepbreath has become something cool to use.
Maneuverability isn’t even the talent that matters when it comes down to it, while the simple push and cancel beats ground-targeting every day of the week, the biggest thing is the talent for gaining 2 hover charges per deep breath, which lets evokers be super-mobile (for real this time).
Aye, I use hover straight into a deep breath. I’m almost always up in the air now.
