Dev feedback? Bueller?

It’s wild to me, the devs seem to completely ignore responding to anyone in these forums. Aggrend has said SoD is supposed to be a casual version of WoW. Clearly, the rest of the devs don’t feel the same.

We log into the forums almost daily and have ENDLESS feedback. Some of us arn’t even trying to be rude. But at this point, we are giving feedback and it honestly feels like we’re talking to a brick wall. Hundreds of us are telling Blizzard WHAT WE WANT. Aggrend also said we’re “co-developers”. I know that’s a loose term, but if you mean it…stand by it. If the MAJORITY of players are pleading for you to nerf this raid because we are not able to clear it, what do you expect the outcome to be if we are continued to be ignored.

We WANT to play your product. I specifically pay a monthly subscription to play SoD. I know I’m not a dev, but we’re giving countless feedback to help devs understand what we want.

Some devs just respond with “show us logs. show us logs”. Some of us don’t know how to effectively link/understand logs. That’s why I’m saying maybe just trust your players’ voice and take the majority opinion and consider looking into them?

They’ve responded plenty in the form of patches

For quite a long time now blizz has tip toed when it comes to sharing current discussion/development regarding basically anything. Balancing the fine line of setting expectations only to let them down or be called a liar if a dev team believes a line of thought wasn’t going to work out how they initially thought.

That being said I do wish there was something more in the form of communication outside of patch notes but it kind of is what it is. We’ve had plenty of evidence throughout sod to suggest they make attempts to stay in the loop on some level.

Aggrend could maybe consider balancing his community interaction a bit better between bsky and blizzards own forums.

I know their team is small, and yes, they’ve discussed things/updates through blue posts. But that isn’t communicating directly with the players.

Some of these forums really warrant responses. But it feels like “here’s the issue with this specific thing(god I hope I see a blue post about this in the next few days/weeks)”.

They communicate on social media, too. Directly to players.
