It has some of the lowest ST in the game currently. I’d say they overnerfed that aspect of it while trying to rein in its AoE a bit.
They nerfed it wrong.
They separated main target and secondary target damage of Eradicate (biggest reason DDH is so powerful right now) and then just didn’t tune that nob at all.
Instead they gave it a blanket 3% nerf and then also nerfed some things that also affect single target dps, giving it some of the lowest ST in the game while also not really hindering its cleave damage as much as they’d hoped they would.
They just need to implement that Collapsing Star buff they were supposed to implement two months ago that gives it a bigger boost to its primary target.
It’s supposed to do 75% more damage to the main target, instead of 50%. Blizzard even added it in their patch notes at one point as one of the many buffs Devourer got after week 1 of raid, and then they… just didn’t put it in.
Needs to be pruned to be quite honest, way too many buttons.
