War Machines
My first raiding experience. War Machines was a unique guild of Singaporean, Australian, and American players. I joined shortly before our GM, Seinfeld (sp?) left for Chaos Theory and handed the lead to Blitzy. We had a legendary raid night our first time in Molten Core, with Lucifron about to wipe us and Vivisection (undead mage) killing Lucifron with her wand while everyone else was dead, watching desperately. My first true “nerd scream” moment in my freshman college dorm room. We had a unique challenge filling our 40-man roster because half were in Australia/Singapore and the other half in the US.

We raided with an Australian guild called “The Blackrock Clan” and I cannot remember their names (my apologies) but there was a female troll priest who was one of their officers. A great bunch of awesome players.
We also had some help from CT here and there, shout outs go to Nickzorz (orc shaman) and Aldebaren (orc warrior) for helping us out.
Dethecus Death Dealers
I switched to DDD after wanting to see more content, particularly BWL. This was around December 2005. I remember CT/DDD had this little rivalry so it was fun to kind of be part of it. I joined just as we were progressing on Bloodlord Lashlayer. I raided with them for about a year.

One memory while in this guild was during one of the first Razorgore kills we had since joining. A majority of their higher-ranking warriors had negative DKP so me, standing at near 0 DKP, was able to luckily get the Untamed Blade, and I believe this pissed off a lot of the other warriors (and rightfully so!). I couldn’t believe it.

Saga. This alliance guild repeatedly destroyed me in battlegrounds. Notable players that I remember: Xiaoling, Zarrick, Lightning, they had this gnome warrior that was tough as nails. Also a really strong human paladin. Sorry guys, wish I remembered more names.

The Lionheart Helm
The Lionheart Helm plans dropped for Saga before any horde guild. I just had to get my hands on this. I don’t remember the details but I spent an irrational amount of time and planning to get Zarrick to make me a Lionheart Helm (without him knowing I was an actual horde member). I eventually got the helm using some Gadgetzan AH shenanigans; I am pretty sure I was one of the first members on horde to get one of them.
Nurfed
I remember logging on one afternoon and suddenly seeing all these new players that were geared like crazy and I didn’t recognize their guilds. Apparently Blizzard was allowing guilds to transfer over. Nurfed, SHARKS WITH LAZERS, Relentless (alliance guild?) had transferred over. This changed the landscape of the realm forever. I quit shortly after this. I don’t remember much else.

It’s your friend, Dethecus’s premiere erotic author and realm wordsmith, Harleydavis.
Do you long for simpler times, when <Watch Your Back> should have watched their instance, and it was okay to make fun of Crouton for being a fat subhuman degenerate? Do you want to go back to the 2004 internet, when “trolling was a art”?
Then I have good news for you. <Months Behind> is coming back, and we need suckers. Bodies. Sacrificial lambs. You see, raids require 40 people. Realistically, they require about ten people that actually know what they’re doing, and 30 more to just stand around and follow simple instructions. (That last part is really hard, most of you didn’t qualify in 2004, and you probably still don’t 15 years later.)
<Months Behind> wants to be your home. All we ask is that you breathe in and out from your mouth, hit the W key, and lay down and die if you get aggro. We’ll rez you. If we feel like it. We just need about 30 of your warm, squishy bodies to get epic purpz, and also your guild taxes to contribute to the guild bank, so we can embezzle it. Along the way, if your IQ is above 80, you may also get some loot as well. We’re not doing DKP or any of that dumb crap, so your chances of getting loot are based solely on the method that every great raid guild uses- Nepotism.
If all your friends are still idiots 15 years later, and you’re barely capable of following instructions, these are the benefits we’re willing to offer you, the humble sucker.
-A main tank that’s going to take 2 weeks off of work and nolife to 60 and actually knows what he’s doing.
-Crouton. Who is also going to nolife to 60, because he’s fat and pays his rent by playing online poker.
-A safe place to make fun of Crouton for being a fat, disgusting, degenerate subhuman, because 15 years have only made him worse and it’s not really bullying him because it’s true.
-A place where you are allowed to be in the hallowed virtual presence of your Lord and God Brenchrist, the greatest pvp healer of all time and your personal Jesus.
-A place where you are allowed to be in the hallowed virtual presence of the Brenc-ck, the Sword of the Lord, which is so massive in girth and length that it requires its own WoW account.
If this sounds like your kind of scene, let us know! We’re looking for people with the following qualities.
