Any help is greatly appreciated.

That addon is worthless. Don’t use it. It displays inaccurate data. It always has been inaccurate. WoWCombatLog.txt is the only trustworthy damage data, to the point that (I believe) it exposes hidden tweaking that the server does. For instance, there is a strange correlation for average gear iLvl and damage done that appears to make iLvl more important that raw stats bonuses. It makes me wonder whether the WoW retail game engine has corrupted the stats based damage of vanilla. It is as if there is a multiplier or divisor that modifies damage based on iLvL.
Are we talking about the same Details? The one I use has this tiny threat feature added on. That entire addon is useless?
Whose responsibility is it to hold threat, the tank or 30 DPS? Yes, all of that addon is worthless. If something in it seems valuable to you, then you’re supporting the wrong guild with awful tanks.
So how do you watch your threat without an addon that measures it?
Threatclassic2 much better anyway.
Your tin foil hats is on too tight
You have no clue lol. Details damage meter is fine and a lot more accurate than recount. Threatclassic2 relies on everyone else using it for it to function at all.
Tanks need to hold threat. True. Dps also need to be mindful of their threat and not over do their threat as well. Destro locks generate insane amounts of threat and only have a single way of dropping it. Death.
Everyone in the raid needs to run the same threat meter. Stop spouting misinformation.
If Details addon was trustworthy then the parsing of WoWCombatLog.txt would perfectly match the #s. It is far from matching perfectly. If Details was accurate, then I would be the top DPS on one-third+ of bosses, but Details is inaccurate because of its client basis. Parsing only works with WoWCombatLog.txt because its #s come from the server.
You, Sir, are the misinformer.
The way Details addon could and should work, to be accurate, would be to parse WoWCombatLog.txt in real time. This has not been done in the decade since it was first coded, though, so don’t expect it.
