ever since cata, details addon has been giving me massive screen tears and fps lag. It also just doesn’t track anything now.
I can’t get it to work, is there a cleaner addon

Have you tried to delete it and reinstall it from curseforge?
Make sure you have the newest version.
All the alternatives are out of date. Prob time to wipe your classic folder including Cache, WTF, etc and reinstall all your addons from scratch if you haven’t done this since cata released.
I use details and it does not do this.
Warcraft log plus the companion app.
You can open it on a 2nd monitor and live log.
It won’t let you see your dps in the middle of the fight but gives you all the data of details after the fight and more. While you shouldn’t be looking at your dps meter mid pull esp if you want to be high on said meter. Use that attention span to olan ahead or optimize your next action.
I got lizard eyes- those things can look at 6 things at once tin 8 different directions
The best use of details is Interrupts and etc, see what people aren’t doing.
Recount is the other alternative. Idk if it’s up to date though.
I will try this, what all folders exactly do i need to delete? I don’t wanna delete the entire classic folder do i?
Yep delete the classic folder that has the wtf file in it. The launcher will download a new one and you will start fresh
