I am having a consistent issue on retail that has to do with spell queueing I believe. When I am trying to be efficient with my gcds and spell queueing, after a couple globals it feels and looks as if my gcd and when the spells go off is desynced. My queued spells don’t go off until the gcd is about half way done and it feels like i have half a second delay between when i press the spell and when it goes off. It gets so bad that sometimes my spell queues don’t even work and the spell isn’t used at all.
I have tested this with and without addons, on different characters and a different computer and it acts the same way. When i tried the PBE realms it also acts this way. Classic and WotLK do not have this issue. My home and world are sitting always around 56-57 ms. I do not seem to have any issues with any other game I am playing and when doing a speed test everything looks normal.
This issue only seems to occur with spell queueing. If I wait for the gcd to finish and have delays in between them, my spells act normally and there is no desync. I have played around with the /console spellqueuewindow from 400-60 and it doesn’t change anything, the desync still happens and its as severe, about half a gcd delay. setting it to 0 i assume just disabled spell queueing but i would like to find a fix to the problem rather than just disable the effect and just play inefficiently.
Any help would be much appreciated as if I can’t fix this I’ll probably just have to quit as the gameplay just feels too scuffed and not worth paying for.
