Any warlock above 2100 know how to stay alive. Any team that has a brain LoS the bolts… Warlocks have never had this much representation ever in pvp.

Yeah, because if don’t line the Warlock, you just die in under 5s through wall.
Just freaking accept your spec is overtuned as all hell already and if you can’t even get past 2k cr the problem lies between the chair and the keyboard.

He won’t be convinced because he plays the game very casually. If he put some time into the game and found a good fire mage, it’s ez wins for a lock.
Locks have unnerfed haste corruption and mastery corruption. A lot of dps and healers still have to use the nerfed vers corruption to survive. Your class mastery gives you a defensive benefit while most other classes get just damage.
Lastly, you have a psuedo dh leech in that your damage gives you healing.
Spammable cc. And a fear that hits regardless of DR.
Literally the only way you lose is if you line your heals, can’t kill before dampening or fail to cycle your defensives properly.
Oh and some locks in certain comps where they are the target forego casting chaos bolt to spam incinerate and immolate. The damage from those alongside a strong dps teammate is good enough to maximize pressure. Can’t really interrupt since it’s needed for chaos bolt.

That’s not really true. People used to relentlessly complain about RMX, MoP Arms Warrior, BM hunters when they were good, Sin rogues at the beginning of BFA, Walking Dead cleave, MoP God Comp, and DH’s have been complained about for the past 3-4 years. This is pure recency bias; saying that Warlock will always be the most popular class to talk about is not accurate in the slightest.
