I have played off and on for years and I recently resubbed. Having played the warlock and I was pretty amazed that they seemed to be a solid class at all levels. I like the warlock the class design for spells etc.
They seem to always nerf the warlock in my experience or they have long periods of being terrible in certain specs or areas of the game. Unlike many other classes.
In all honestly they have always been oddly designed in that they seem to draw solo players(in fact they were originally designed to be a better solo class if I’m not mistaken) but in any facet of wow that really matters your ability to solo pve abit better than other cloth casters doesn’t really matter. In fact for actual progression they have been mostly not so great in small group areas like arena and mythic plus when i have played.
