Desto Stat priority- Help me please

Hey All!!

I need some help from the pros. I have checked multiple places and everything is conflicting. For destro, please tell me my stat priority! I see Haste, mastery, crit, vers. then I see Haste, crit, ver. mastery. Among others and I am lost.

I cannot find anything on DR and my mastery is seems so high! I haven’t done much with my gear because I am so confused. Any help or insight I will love you forever!. Thanks!

Once you get tier, it goes to haste > vers = crit > mastery. Mastery drops off because DRift doesn’t scale with Mastery (DRift is considered a pet). As a general rule though, sim yourself with raidbots. Your stat priority can change dramatically depending on things like trinkets too.

We’ve been Haste/Mastery for many years, but this season changed it up due to the dimensional rift tier bonus. Dimensional rift doesn’t benefit from mastery, so mastery tanked a lot.

I’d say haste to ~30-35% then focus on crit and vers. Vers is more single target oriented I think and more haste still wins out on some large aoe things. So it might depend on the content you are doing.

But overall I’d say 30% haste and then split between crit and vers. After that, sim it to fine tune it.

Thank you both so much! She is just a lower-level mythic runner to help people push through so they can do higher ones. So, nothing fancy, but I wanted her to at least do decent. This is in line with what I was thinking as well but I really needed the confirmation. I appreciate you both!

Stat Ranking

In every situation:

Intellect > Haste > Mastery > Crit > Vers

That is off Methods web site .
I like to go 20+haste and 20+ crit keeping them about the same with a lot of mastery .

for the love of god, don’t do this

drift doesn’t scale off of mastery, and I imagine that site is outdated

I’m wondering if that was before the buffs to the set bonus because originally it was a dps loss to gear for the bonus. I think WoWhead says the same, but I’m pretty sure that’s all out of date at this point and they didn’t revamp it.
