I read that this will be free to WoW subscribers for a limited time. I don't see anything about it when I go to the site. Anyone know how to claim it?
Battle.net launcher
As Zulani said, use the launcher. And then be prepared for over 70GB in downloads and patches.
It still shows up as $60
Just a head's up, it kinda sucks.
Press the gift icon on the top right of BNet launcher :) Takes a few minutes to load, but the free Destiny 2 Gift is there.

Look in received gifts tab of the launcher.
At the top right, next to you name, there should be a gift icon. If not, maybe close the browser and restart it.
Got it, thanks
Can't believe I spent gold and money on that crap and now people get it for free. They should give us who got suckered / hustled by Bungie the expansions at least.
the forsaken xpac pretty much fixed everything that was wrong with the launch D2.

Yes it is irritating, but seems to be a common practice with most of their games now. It was only like 1 month before Destiny 2 went on sale after it released on Blizzards platform. Does nothing but irritate the people who paid full price for it.
Expecting COD to go on sale or free very soon as well.
I think that doing these things just make people wait for the game to go on sale or to be free before playing it. They just shoot themselves in the foot doing this IMO.
Destiny 2?
I learned my lesson after Destiny 1.

No Mac version, so I guess I'm not destined to get it.

The base game and story isn't bad until you reach endgame. That's where Destiny falls flat on its face. Well worth the playthrough even if you have no plans to buy the expansions. It just sorta fizzles and dies when the story ends.

Right.
A free game a free game still but I ain't going to install it.
Also like to point out, you still need buy the Forsaken expansion to play half the game.

I'm enjoying my first playthrough, lvl 13 atm. It's really fun and entertaining. That being said, is this the base Destiny 2 game (excl expansions)
