A game so bad, they're giving it away for free. Thanks Activision. I have to congratulate you on your Diablo Immortal announcement as well. Man you guys just keep hitting it out of the park. What with the smashing success BfA has been with the players, your announcement that Classic will have sharding, and now a mobile game based on Diablo. Yes, a MOBILE game based on DIABLO. You guys know just what we want. I wonder how Blizzard would feel with all this success Activision is having.
Destiny 2 is good if you want to play the campaign. Keep playing beyond that, no reason to.
Destiny 2 was released a year ago and all they're doing is giving away the base game until Nov 18th. That doesn't include ANY of the DLC or the expansion.
Still find it absolutely funny that people in the Classic community are fuming because they're not getting unstable servers and zone congestion.
Diablo is the only actual issue that I can sympathize with the fanbase over.

Destiny 2 is about as user friendly as recuperating from open heart surgery! No thanks. I'm going to uninstall.

I'd have better entertainment playing Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing than Destiny 2.
I'm fine with them giving it out for free. It's something to do while I wait for 8.1.

Look for the gift option in the launcher. Upper right-hand corner.
I don't think of this as "look, Destiny 2 is a failure of a game." I think of this as some accountant deciding that Destiny 2 had crossed some arbitrary financial line that made them decide that going semi-F2P would be beneficial for metrics and microtransactions. So they flipped the switch.
That having been said, though, I will be sure to laugh when they tout the increase in Destiny 2 MAUs as some sort of amazing success on the next investor call.
D2 is fine for small bursts. Haven't bought the forsaken dlc, probably won't either.
i feel bamboozled by blizz, i paid for destiny now they give it away for free, they should give me something to make it up to me.

Forsaken is the redemption for Destiny 2. Its so much fun.
Gotta say that they're charging you exactly what it's worth!
I played destiny 2 for about a month after it came out and had fun in the campgain. The rest of it gets old real quick tho.
I appreciate the early Christmas gift from Blizzard and may play it one day, but FPS generally aren't my thing (unless it's Half Life 3).
I grew up on Quake and UT. I liked D2.

Isn't the sharding on classic just for blizzcon and not live? That's what I heard anyway.
