Despite layering exploits, we should be thankful of Blizzard

I’ve been posting a lot of hard data recently on the layering exploits that are ruining the game, both short and long term, and this seems to have created an overall hostile atmosphere towards Blizzard.

For this reason I believe that I also need to acknowledge that positive points of detail and be thankful to Blizzard for working on them.

Firstly, I am extremely thankful to Blizzard that we even have WoW Classic. I understand that doing this is an extremely intensive, expensive, and risky endeavor, and for the work they have done so far is something nothing short of showing grace and support for the community. Thank you for this.

Secondly, I am thankful that Blizzard is able to listen to the community. They’ve opened new servers, fixed raid XP issues, and I honestly believe they are taking notice of the direction and voice of the community and are making the decisions they feel are best for the health of the game. For this I am very thankful as well.

Lastly, despite being an extremely large company, I truly believe Blizzard has employees that are gamers at heart, ones who feel compassion for what their customers are doing and simply “get it”.

So with that said, I truly do appreciate Blizzard and what they’ve done so far and I am especially excited for what Blizzard will do moving forward.

Cheers

For sure. I think we should be very vocally appreciative with the Classic Team. I am convinced that they love the game more than even us. Classic is truly going to be a fun time and one that hopefully lasts years.
