Describe your guild bank

I don’t know why, honestly. Maybe you like to be organized, maybe you don’t!

Focused mainly around professions, these are my tabs :

  • Meat n Meals

  • Ores n Gems

  • Cloth n Skins

  • Flowers n Bones

  • Scrolls n Potions

  • Magic

  • Gear n Stuff

  • Gold reserve : 475k

This to me is the perfect way to divide them. I think it covers everything for the majority of professions. I used to put all the buffing items under a single tab, but later found out that it’s better to squeeze them with the mats used to create them.

What does your gbank look like?

Perfectly balanced as all things should be.

  • Recipes that won’t sell on the AH but I’m too much of a hoarder to delete

Organized and immaculate.

It’s organized, my sister-in-law did that years ago, but I pretty much stay out of it.

(Yeah, I know I’m the GM and can theoretically do what I want with it. It turns out that what I want to do is absolutely bupkis. I can’t be bothered to organize my personal bank, why would I handle a guild bank better?)

  1. Random current expansion things
  2. Gems and more gems. All the gems
  3. BoE armour for rare appearances, pricey pets and island expedition weapons
  4. Mining and bs mats, mainly bc and wrath khorium/hardenened adamantite/titansteel to make twink blacksmith gear or appearances
  5. Potions and gliders and general consumables for twinking
  6. Mine
  7. His

depends on which one.
My HM tauren druid ore digger and my tauren herb digger both have their own private guild bank. I just use them to keep whatever i farm in there till I mail it to other characters or list it on the AH.

The guild bank for my main and a list of other characters is stuffed with mats to make 74a repair bots, mostly…that and felslate and a bunch of old panda feast tables that I love to toss down in dungeons when we’re taking a breather after a wipe.

*Plus other crap people add to the bank because they can’t fathom my perfectly reasonable system of organization

ugh, i hate to admit it, especially since not only are you horde, but a goblin as well, but I like this organization method.

mine is organized by SL raw mats (to be used for crafting), SL crafted (holding for toons i plan on levelling), SL sell (any SL items I plan on selling) past xpac mats (because i don’t want them mixing with the newer mats), uncollected mog (again, for when i level a toon that can use that armor type), lockboxes (rogue is not 60 yet), and weekly gathers (I split some of my gathered items between selling, using for crafting, and to give to my guild for use)

the banking alt holds most if not all the gold (of which there is only 50K right now after a spending spree).

all but four of my toons are in my personal guild. the four that aren’t are my main, my mage who almost became my main, and my druid who was the very first toon i had in this toons guild. the fourth holds a second guild bank but thats just for battle pets and any overflow.
