Thuum isn’t as villainous as Volibear, but they have similar themes of primal strength, connection the land, mistrust of civilization, and unbridled bloodlust. Thuum wants to control his, whereas Volibear kind of relishes in it all and believes only the strong survive. Thuum would agree that only the strong survive, but that’s why he’s always encouraging everyone to be their best, and offering a hand up to those who need it.
