Not only that, but it would be a refreshing breath of fresh air to see a parent/child relationship that didn't end in one of them dying. Varian and Anduin, Baine and Cairne, Liam and Genn, and the latest being Talanji and Rastakhan. Eventually, it becomes like a broken record. Katherine should live.10/28/2018 10:22 PMPosted by GalenornI really hope not. I need her for my collection of badass old ladies. Grandma Wahl, Granny Marl, and now Katherine "I'mma pistolwhip some ghosts" Proudmoore.

Yay for more Horde infighting!
So we're having sarcasm for Halloween then, is that how it is?10/28/2018 10:29 PMPosted by Kazala(bad news grandblade, that's how all parent/child relationships end...)10/28/2018 10:24 PMPosted by Grandbladeit would be a refreshing breath of fresh air to see a parent/child relationship that didn't end in one of them dying

All cool characters have dead parents. It makes them completely relatable.10/28/2018 10:31 PMPosted by GrandbladeSo we're having sarcasm for Halloween then, is that how it is?10/28/2018 10:29 PMPosted by Kazala...(bad news grandblade, that's how all parent/child relationships end...)
10/28/2018 09:10 PMPosted by KazalaYes, that quest-line. We'd already seen it quite some time ago in data mining, but we didn't know the order of events.10/28/2018 09:06 PMPosted by Withpuppysand what the found out is something hiding in the shadows may have blinded vol'jin to that felguard so that he will be mortally injured, and easily manipulated into making sylvanas warchief. and then some noble force of valor brought his spirit back and now he is no mere spirit
Unfortunately, if they plan on taking any concrete action following those revelations, they're super vague about it and it won't be happening in this patch cycle. Their statements at the conclusion are somewhere along the lines of, "welp, let's go home and try to help her be more honorable!", which is somewhere between moderately and severely nauseating.
The conclusion is more like they're going to wait until they hear back from Vol'jin about who or what wants Sylvanas in charge and for what reason.
When Vol'jin leaves, Talanji's basically saying "until he comes back let's make sure she isn't mustache twirling evil."
BUT LIKE IT'S ALREADY SUPER TOO LATE FOR THAT, YOU KNOW?!10/28/2018 10:50 PMPosted by TewdeeWhen Vol'jin leaves, Talanji's basically saying "until he comes back let's make sure she isn't mustache twirling evil."

Given that Talanji mostly interacts with Baine+honor horde, she probably doesn’t realize that (at least that is probably what the writers are trying to convey).
"She's already blasted eight orphans in the face with a shotgun, but let's try really hard to keep her from going too far with it."10/28/2018 11:02 PMPosted by KazalaBUT LIKE IT'S ALREADY SUPER TOO LATE FOR THAT, YOU KNOW?!10/28/2018 10:50 PMPosted by TewdeeWhen Vol'jin leaves, Talanji's basically saying "until he comes back let's make sure she isn't mustache twirling evil."

Stop it from getting worse. The mustache can only twirl so far.

Talanji:”You can not twirl your mustache of villainy any further Warchief!”
Sylvanas:”Can’t I?”
Never underestimate the Horde leaders' apathy of convenience for Sylvanas.10/28/2018 11:09 PMPosted by TewdeeThe mustache can only twirl so far.
And also never underestimate the degrees to which a Horde characters mustaaaaaaache can be twirled. Trust me *SoO flashbacks of Garrosh unironically calling out Warlocks while dripping with remnants of an embodiment of chaos and decay in the universe*. They can go a lot....like a LOT.10/28/2018 11:12 PMPosted by GrandbladeNever underestimate the Horde leaders' apathy of convenience for Sylvanas.10/28/2018 11:09 PMPosted by TewdeeThe mustache can only twirl so far.

"Warlocks are the worst! They've made the Horde weak!" Garrosh belched out between heavy breaths, taking bites of a Big Mac made from slabs of Y'shaarj's heart. "I'll show them by employing Dark Shaman!"10/28/2018 11:24 PMPosted by Akharg*SoO flashbacks of Garrosh unironically calling out Warlocks while dripping with remnants of an embodiment of chaos and decay in the universe*
"Uhh, aren't Dark Shaman under the broader umbrella of 'Warlock'?"

"Uhh, aren't Dark Shaman under the broader umbrella of 'Warlock'?"[/quote] Honestly, I have always argued that Dark Shamanism is worse, the fel magics use CAN potentially kill off an area if it is used enough/by enough people in a concentrated location. It can also potentially affect the elements in the area it is used. But Dark Shamanism is guaranteed to have all of the above happen, as a direct and willful result of use. As our old homie little g put it "Torturing the elements for miles around! They cannot hear you anymore!"

Like I've said before, one way or another I wish the Horde could all get on the same page.
The devs swore up and down that this wouldn't be a rehash of MoP, but the deeper we get into this expansion the harder time I have believing them.

Forget twirling, she's going to grow it out until it's as long and fine as her eyebrows. THEN she'll twirl it so slowly while drinking a wine glass filled with puppy and kitten blood.
