After doing dailies on the island in SMV, I fly north to hellfire to do the dailies. Randomly flying in the twisting nether I get demounted and fall to my death. I cannot rez and have to take rez sickness. This does not happen every single time, but happens enough that I have paid a lot in repairs because of rez sickness. Similarly, I have flown to shatt from SMV and got randomly demounted in Terrokar and fell to my death.
I tried flying from smv to hfp and got stuck on invisible walls, now i just hop on a fp and catch a break. Its much easier imo
It’s the flight master union. They are assassinating anyone trying to skip out on paying them.

Fly lower, get engineering, don’t fly into the nether, use public transportation, reroll a druid…

Or twice and it’s on the bug. If it happens frequently, then it’s on you.
When you leave SMV on a daily drake sometimes it doesn’t revert back to your normal mount. If you’re off the ledge and see this, just land and remount.
Cancel the disguise buff you get when you go to the island - It auto removes it when you change zone causing dismount

Well, I have the mount, so the graphics do not change. It is wherever I stopped questing on the island there and fly towards HFP. Taking the flight path, takes forever, when flying directly is a time saver. I am reporting the bug as it is a bug. Now stopping to change and correct the mount, yes, that is common sense but also time consuming. Just reporting the bug, folks.
You probably got too far down in the Nether. I’ve flown like that many times and never die randomly.

Happened to me as well. What I found is that once the orc disguise drops, you should land somewhere in SMV and remount so you’re on your own mount. This happened to me a couple months ago, amazing they haven’t addressed it.
Legit never have had this happen to me. You just have to choose your path carefully as it is easy to run into invisible walls
No it’s a bug. I’ve had it happen just flying through Terrokar. Not switching zones, nowhere near the twisting nether, just flying along and randomly get dismounted and fall to my death.
