It’s been a LONG time since I’ve actively played warlock and I vaguely remember that the demons used to actually talk and had their own little personalities. Was this a thing and was just removed, or did I have an odd fever dream? If it was removed, why?
It has been awhile since I played my
Lock (BC). But yes, they used to have little sayings when you summoned them, and when you ordered them to attack.
The imp was a snarky little bastage
The Voidwalker was like a genie. “As you wish” sort of stuff
The Succubus would giggle and moan
And the FelHunter would growl
The Felguard also had his own sayings and sounded very menacing
I think in fact, that originally, their sayings were in demonic, but later switched out so you could understand them…
Damn that sounds like it adds a bunch of class flavor and has literally 0 downside to have in. Blizzard truly baffles me.
They only speak now when you summon them… I havnt heard them speak since legion…sorry to burst your bubble
Locks used to be able to speak and understand demonic but they took it away for some reason
They gave it to shadow priests during void form, didnt you know?
Demon hunters got speak demonic along with our spec.
Yeah they need to put in the felhunter growl when he attacks. They took that out. And I made a ticket about it. I hope they bring it back.
They speak the void language though not demonic
You can make a weak aura to play sounds under certain conditions
I muted my toons voice using an add-on and then replaced it with wod’s Blackhand and its way better
Not true. It literally says [Demonic] to everyone but the shadow priest unless its a bug.
No it doesn’t, it says Shat’yar or whatever the Void language is.
Im pretty sure its shath’yar and not demonic
Sometimes when you order a felguard to spin he says something along the lines of, “I play all my records backwards,” and then says the same thing, but backwards.
